insomnia - hwang hyunjin

Hyunjin slowly opens his eyes as he suddenly feels a cold breeze. He looked at the open window. He sighed and tried to get up, but something was holding him back. He looked down and saw Y/n peacefully sleeping while clinging onto him. He couldn't help but smile.

She snuggled more into his chest as she felt the cold breeze. Hyunjin quickly put the blanket on top of her. He layed his head back down onto the bed. He grabbed his phone with his left hand as he wanted to see how late it was.

He was surprised when he looked at the time. It was 9 am. He actually slept through the night. He didn't think about anything, he didn't have a nightmare. He had slept peacefully.

His right arm was around her waist, to keep her close. He dropped his phone onto the bed as he felt her move. He looked at her as she scrunched her nose up, meaning she would open her eyes soon. He dropped his head back, causing him to feel a slight pain in the neck. He closed his eyes.

Y/n slowly opened her eyes. They were open wide when she realized what the situation was. She removed her hand from his chest and slowly guide his hand, that was on her waist, down onto the bed. She swiftly but gently crawled away.

She tiptoed to the door and opened it. She left the room and quickly went to the bathroom. She looked herself in. She looked at herself in the mirror as she had a hand onto her heart. It was beating really fast.

As Y/n was in the bathroom, Hyunjin had closed the window. He casually went out to the living room. When Y/n had calm herself down, she opened the door and left the bathroom, to see Hyunjin sitting on the couch. ''Did you sleep well?'' she asked, making Hyunjin's head turn towards her. He nodded. ''It was peaceful.'' he replied.

LATER THAT EVENING

Hyunjin was alone in his apartment, getting ready for bed. Y/n had to work at the cafe so she couldn't be there tonight.

As his hair was still a little wet, he layed his head onto the pillow. He put the blanket over him. He closed his eyes.

He opened them a few hours later. He couldn't fall asleep at all. He got out of bed and went near the window. He looked outside. It was quiet outside. 

While looking outside, he tried to figure out what had helped him sleep yesterday. Of all the times he had slept well or longer than normal, Y/n was always near him during those nights. When she wasn't near he couldn't sleep for even a minute.

He smiled to himself as he realized that he needed Y/n. He liked the idea of it.
