i arrived at the tavern in the early morning when diane was leaving to start cleaning up the mess my friends made from their celebration last night. everyone was sleeping so i stayed quiet while i picked up the surroundings furthest away from anyone who was catching some z's. i saw meliodas sleeping on the table. i smiled at him, as i ran my fingers gently through his hair. i saw his lips curl into a smile. i retracted my hand from his hair and left to grab him a blanket. i heard king yell and turned around quickly to see a fallen bottle and hawk. my guess is that hawk made the empty bottle fall, which landed on kings forehead. "oh, jeez." he said as he looked at his friends. i put the blanket onto meliodas.
"good morning, king! would you like me to get you some water?" i ask him as i picked up some empty bottles from meliodas's table.
"oh, no, i'm fine." he waved at me. "those bottles, are you cleaning up by any chance?" king asks me as he pointed to the bottle's in my hand.
"yes i am." i nodded.
"jeez. shame on the captain for making a princess do that." king didn't look pleased at meliodas.
