Today is the day, the day where the gang testifies against Lee Byeongchan for what he did to Joonyeong. Right now, they are sitting on the benches listening to the prosecutor and Byeongchan's defense attorney. The prosecutor's name is Choi Minyoung and the defense attorney's name is Kwon Mi Fi.
"Lee Byeongchan has repeatedly sexually assaulted Oh Joonyeong and once he figured out Joonyeong did something to make him angry, he kidnapped his own student and raped him for eight weeks before his friend found him, called the police, and arrest him two days after Joonyeong was discharged from the hospital." Minyoung told the court while the DA rolled her eyes.
"Objection, no one has complained about my client sexually assaulting, kidnapping, and raping Oh Joonyeong," Mi Fi told the court. "Overall," the judge said.
"I will like to call my first witness Oh Joonyeong."
Joonyeong's POV:
Minyoung called my name to testify against Lee Byeongchan. I am scared to sit in front of Mr.Lee to sit in front of Mr.Lee and talk about what he did to me.
I stood up and went to the chair next to the judge. A security guard came up to me, held a book in front of me so I could put my left hand on top, and raise my right hand.
"Do you solemnly swear that you will tell the truth, the whole, truth, and nothing but the truth?" The security guard asked me and I told him I do. Once I sat down, Minyoung stood up from her seat to talk to me.
"Joonyeong, do you remember when Lee Byeongchan first started making you uncomfortable?" I stared at Minyoung, then where my brother, friends, and boyfriend are sitting, and I answered her question honestly. "It was the first day of school when he made me uncomfortable, then he started sexually assaulting me for three months." I heard gasps when I answered her question.
"Why did Byeongchan kidnap you when he knows you are his student and has a family?" "He heard that I kissed Wujin and he got upset. After class ended and everyone left, he put a cloth over my nose and mouth and I passed out due to the chemicals. Once I woke up, he entered the science lab where I was at and he told me that I belonged to him. He started undoing his pants and undoing my pants and he raped me. It went on for eight weeks until Wujin and Jinsu found me."
I started crying after I told her the reason why he did this to me. I saw the others who are about to cry or want to kill Mr.Lee. "No further questions," said Minyoung and she went back to her seat.
"Joonyeong, if my client has been doing this to you for a while, why did you not report it?" Mi Fi asked me and I became more nervous. "I didn't think anyone would believe me," I answered honestly. "If you thought no one would believe you, then why does Daesu know and not tell anyone?" My eyes widened, how does she know. "He saw Mr.Lee sexually assaulting me and I told him not to tell anyone with the same reasoning." I told her. "Who posted a text that you and Wujin kissed?" She asked me and I told her I-sak did.
"So let me get this straight, you did all of this just to cover up you love spending time with him and you blamed I-sak who is your friend?" She asked me and I screamed no. Minyoung yelled out objection and the judge said substained. "No further questions," and just like that, she went back to her seat and sat down.
Time Skip where everyone testifies and this chapter is getting long
"Has a jury reached a verdict?" The judge asked them. "We have your honor," one of the juries answered. "With one count of sexual assault, one count of kidnapping, and one count of rape, how does he plead?" The judge asked them. "We find the defendant Lee Byeongchan guilty." Everyone started celebrating while I started crying. I can't believe we won this case.
"Joonyeong we did it, we won. He will be locked up for a long time." Hanwool told me and he hugged me. I kept crying on his shoulder that Mr.Lee is going to prison and he lost his job. I felt everyone else hugging me and I see Minyoung smiling at me. I forgot to mention that Minyoung is my cousin. We broke the hug and decided to go out and celebrate after I finally got the justice I deserved.
