y'know i've been on this app for a while and i've been following the oc idol community for a while before I made this acc so I can publish my own. I've seen many authors claim that they've been plagiarised, I used to think. they're being dramatic because they usually complain about people stealing their layout when honestly they have a really basic layout that millions of people use. but still, don't forget to credit other authors if you're using their layout cuz it takes a surprising amount of effort to come up with one even if it ends up looking super basic.

anw, I didn't realise that people are actually straight-up copying works here. I had to deal with one a few days ago and I used to think that if someone were to copy my work, I wouldn't care but upon seeing how blatantly this person plagiarised my work I realised how upset it made me. I dunno just the way I saw someone essentially copy-pasted anna and some parts of allissa made me shake with anger. I use this app as a means to escape life and write a universe I'd want to see unfold, these two characters especially I wrote while thinking of someone I'd like to look up to, sometimes it's even a wee-bit of self-insert. So seeing someone steal my works like that just made me furious.

the way they even copied the names of the corbin sisters... surnames, first names, the middle names too, they'd just change the astronomy part of their middle names but kept the flower part. i put a lot of thought in those names and how I was going to tie them in with their relationship... ahh it's so upsetting. they even copied their mom's name and used all the same occupations and cities for the family... but instead of the mother being korean japanese they made her korean taiwanese.

they also took anna's vocal explanation and copied it word for word, dead ass word for word as well as some parts of allissa's dance explanation. i can brush off similar wording but these were legit the exact same words. i know my work when i see it... they even copied the nickname explanations for some... word for word again...

this is my first time dealing with this type of stuff and initially i thought that perhaps i was overreacting but after talking to a few ppl we've all agreed that it does look extremely suspicious. I confronted the author and they completely denied it i kept pushing them with all of my reasoning and their story was pretty inconsistent i don't know I'm just so pissed. I blocked them and tried to sleep it off but it still pisses me off so much.

it was was supposed to be a really good day :(( lmao they even said i was being aggressive for no reason but i really don't think i was, i tried to do it nicely but i was so fed up. oh did i mention they used my old layout without credit? they even contacted me first saying we had similar layouts BECAUSE THAT'S MINE. they gave me credit for it but removed it later on after i told them i was done with them.

ALSOO IF Y'ALL REMEMBERED ANNA'S OLD GRAPHICS (btw is the old one or the current one better?) THIS LITTLE BITCH COPIED IT!!! man I feel like a massive idiot for letting her friend(?) use my layout and giving the link for the canvas template only for this bitch to steal 🙄🙄

my brother is encouraging me to do an exposé lol but the last time someone actually exposed someone on this app, they got cancelled. now, i don't think i did anything necessarily wrong but who knows anwww that's ittt
