Chapter 5

Thursday, 7:00am
This day Luca woke up by his alarm, he set the night before. He wanted to talk with Sam. He wanted to make sure she was actually okay. Not hearing her voice, made him go insane. She told him she was okay, but Luca needed to know, if she lied or told the truth.
Many people think they would make a good couple. They also think Luca is in love with her, because he cares so much about her. But Luca never felt any attraction to her. He cared about her, because she was his friend and had and still has some problems. He just wanted to make sure everyone was okay...
Luca knew Sam always wakes up early and would be available. Therefore he immediately called her, after he got a little less tired.
Sam picked up fast: "Hey Luca, how's it going?"
"Hey it's going great, it's really good seeing Max again."
"I'm happy to hear that! It's going great for me too... I have a boyfriend. I know I said I wanted to take a break from boys, but then I met this awesome dude last weekend and he asked me out yesterday! He is so awesome I..."
Luca listened to her for an a little bit more than an hour. She was talking about her boyfriend and how great her life has been going. Then she had to hang up because she had a date with her new boyfriend Leo. Luca was relieved. Sam was actually happy. He heard it in her voice. He didn't need to worry about her anymore. But he felt bad for interrupting her. She was about to go on a date and he just called and annoyed her.
Luca thought about going to bed again but he probably wouldn't be able to sleep anymore. Then he remembered the delicious food, Max made for him every morning. He felt bad for not giving anything back, so he planned to make breakfast for Max this morning.
Even though Luca isn't a great cook, he managed to cook a respectable breakfast. He also made coffee with milk and sugar for Max and a hot chocolate for himself. When he was finished with everything and thought it looked pretty good, he went to Max room and knocked on his door. Luckily Max was already awake and about to get a hoodie.
"Good morning, come in, already awake?"
Luca opened the door and slowly walked in the room.
"I prepared breakfast."
"Omg that's so nice of you! Any special occasion?"
"No, you just always make breakfast for me and I thought doing the same for once would be nice..."
"Naww that's so cute!" Max said and pulled his friend into a hug.

10:27am
After they finished eating the really good breakfast (Max told Luca how good the food was about 30 times), they started to plan. They wanted to go to the city today but hadn't planned anything more. They didn't know when they'd go there, what exactly they'd do or when they'd turn back home.
"It's 10:27 right now. How about we start off at 1pm and just go home, whenever we feel like it?"
"Sound good, but what are we even going to do?"
"I don't know, maybe cinema? Eating at a restaurant? Some shopping?"
"Is there any good movie?"
"Let's just go into a random one. The movie doesn't matter, it will be fun either way, if the movie is good or not."
"Sounds fun. I'm gonna clean the table and then shower. Do you want to while I'm cleaning?"
"You don't need to-"
"I want to."
"Ok I'm gonna shower."
"Have fun!"
Max started laughing. Have fun he was about to shower. He wasn't going to a party or some shit.

12:52pm
"Lucaaaaaaaa"
"I'm coming! I'm coming! Just needed to get my phone."

When they arrived, they didn't really know what to do, so they decided to take a walk while talking. They didn't talk about really important things. It was just a little fun talk. At some point Luca's legs started hurting. He sat down on a bench and forced Max to do the same.
"Wanna get ice cream? We still have some time before the movie starts."
"Don't wanna walk."
"Stay here I'll get ice cream. Chocolate?"
"I love chocolate!"
"I know."

After they finished their ice cream, they decided to go shopping. Luca didn't pack enough clothes, so he decided to buy some more. He ended up buying a black and a white hoodie. One shirt and one pair of grey, comfy sweats. Max bought a grey sweater and a pair of jeans.
When they were about to pay, Max saw something.
"Oh my god Luca look at this phone case, it's so pretty! They even got it for my phone! Should I buy it? Like I only bought one a month ago, but it's just so pretty..."
"Don't buy it. It's ugly anyway."
"Oh ok..."
Of course Luca didn't actually think the phone case was ugly. He actually thought it was really cute and perfect for his best friend. So he wanted to but it for him. While Max payed, he quickly grabbed the phone case and mixed it with his other stuff.
Max didn't even notice the phone case, while Luca was paying, because he was distracted.
So when Luca pulled it out of his pocket as soon as they were outside, it was actually a surprise.
"Wait, so you don't think it's ugly?"
"Why would I? It fits you so perfectly!"
"Thank you and much! I know I'm doing this a lot recently but I'm gonna hug you again!"

4:54pm
"Okay we should go to the cinema now!"
Luca insisted on paying for both of them and Mad wasn't complaining. He was just a bit worried, because Luca had mentioned his problems with money before. Max could easily pay for them both. His family had a lot of money and he just got a lot of it. He never had to actually work or anything and he's still kinda rich. He took a note in his mind to pay for Luca more often.

8:43pm
When they got home, they were really tired. The day was good and the movie was awesome, but it was a lot of walking and movies made them both tired. Due to that they went to bed, right after they got home and brushed their teeth and stuff.
