Friday, 9:26am
Friday. Today Max wanted to talk to Luca. Even though Luca seemed like he took better care of himself, he had like no choice. He was eating and drinking enough, because he was at Max's. He was showering everyday, because he was at Max's. He was happy, because he was at Max's. So even though Luca seemed to be fine, Max wanted to talk about the time before that. He didn't knew anything but enough to worry.
Max went into the living room, where Luca was sitting, eating some grapes. He sat down on the sofa next to him.
"Grapes?"
"No thanks..."
Silence
"Luca?"
"Yeah"
Max let out a loud sigh, before he started talking.
"I wanted to talk to you. You obviously haven't taken good care of yourself, before you came here. You've been focusing on me and your other friends and you still are. It's like you don't care about yourself and just about others. Even though you seem pretty fine now, I think it's just because of me. And I noticed, how you're still trying to help your friends in any free minute. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing to worry about your loved ones! It's just that you kinda stop worrying about you. And that's dangerous. You looked like shit, when you arrived here. You didn't talk to me months before. Our conversations consisted of you helping me. We never talked about you. Are you talking about your feelings with anyone?"
...
"No."
Expected that
"Is there like... a reason or something?"
"No. I just really want my friends to be happy and like... don't bother them with whatever I'm feeling. I don't believe it's like important or- I don't know it just doesn't matter."
"That's the problem, because it does matter! Your feeling matter and everyone needs someone to talk to. Even you"
"Hmm"
"Just... please talk to me. I really care about you and I want you to be happy. You always help me and I want to be able to help you too. You deserve it."
"Thanks I'll...I'll talk to you when something bothers me."
Luca didn't actually planned to talk to Max though. He would only bother him
Max suspected that but he hoped he'd be wrong and Max would come to him, when he needs help.
It was silent between them for the next 5 minutes. They didn't knew, if they should continue the conversation or change the subject. Eventually Luca was the first to talk again.
"So what are we going to do today?"
"I don't know. Would you rather stay home or go outside?"
"I'm really tired, so I feel better about staying home, but if you want to go outside, we can surely go outside."
"No, let's stay home. What do you want to do? Any movie you've been wanting to watch? Or a show? Anything? We could play games?"
"Remember the Harry Potter marathon we did in like third grade? Let's redo that!"
"Oh my god yes, I love Harry Potter!"
