And Then Suddenly I Bumped Into You

Makkari was never late. Ever! No matter how late she would wake up, which didn't really happened much, she always managed to get to work in time. All her friends said she had super speed and even her mother told her when she got her name sign that it had the word fast for a reason. So today was the worst day of her life because she woke up already an hour late so it was imposible to get to work in time. She got ready in less then two seconds and was already running in super speed to get to her work, always lookimg at her watch, distracted with how late she actually was. And then she bumped into someone, so hard she thought her nose might be broken. She didn't hit the floor thougth, the person was holding her. When the pain stopped she fixed herself and looked at the man. It was a very nice looking man that was looking at her worried

"You're okay?" He asked and said something else she couldn't read, she was a pretty good lip reader, even when people had accents but his was probably harder to understand

"I'm sorry, did I hurt you? You're okay? I'm so sorry, I'm late for work so I was running and I wasn't looking" her signs where all over the place, she was being fast as always. She then stopped and was just going to get her phone to write down what she just said but he stopped her

"It's okay, it's okay. I understand you. And I'm okay you didn't hurt me. But, are you okay?" he surprised her with his signing, it was perfect and he managed to actually understand what she said even though she signed it in the speed of light. She smiled and shaked her head

"No, I'm okay. But really, I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay, don't need to apologise, you said you were late for work?"

"Oh, God, yes! Well, bye, and sorry again!" she signed and without waiting for anything else she started running. Later that day when she had time to breath she regretted not asking his name or his number

Druig watched the woman run and smiled. He didn't knew her name but he was always going to remember her as beautiful, because she was, oh she was, he was sure he would never see a woman more beautiful than her because sje, for sure, had stolen all the beauty in the world

"No way!" Sprite said and looked at Sersi in desfelief

"It's true I saw it! He was looking at her and his eyes where sparkling and they had so much chemistry!"

"You were on the other side of the other street! You saw nothing! Can we move on? Is been a week! Sprite comes back from the school trip and we only talk about you and the crazy things you imagine? " Druig said rolling his eyes

His sisters could be so annoying, he hated Gilgamesh and Thena for adopting two girls, he was perfectly fine being an only child until they adopted Sersi when they were young. She was older than him, but since he was the one that was at the house before her, he was treated like the oldest for a long time. And then Sprite, a now 12 year old that has the spirit of a hundred year old person and is even more annoying than Sersi (and he once thought that was imposible). He loved then, but they were a pain in his ass sometimes, most of the times.

Sersi ignored him and kept talking

"You'll see Sprite. Druig hasn't visit mom and dad in forever, but now that he is mom is going to immediately see, she is the best one at reading people, she'll see that he has a crush on the girl he saw one week ago and doesn't even know her name!"

Druig kept driving and shaking his head while he heard them speak about him over and over. He got to Sersi and Sprite's house and let them there and then walked to go to get a coffee, the two girls really took out all his energy. He stopped in the middle of his walk when his phone started to buzz, Sersi was calling him. He just ignored her, he knew she wanted coffee and he knew which coffee if was so no need to pick up the call. He started to walk again without looking to see where he was going, bumping directly into someone. It was the same girl from a week ago and somehow she managed to look even better than before
