Chapter 15

You've healed to the point where you can move around. Possibly things can go back to normal. Donnie stated how you need a few more days to heal, then you can go back to doing things. Apparently, you've been missing out on a lot, because Raph, Leo, and Donnie will tell you. 

Raph always had this pet turtle, Spike. He tells Spike just about everything: his problems and his rights. You were at their lair, and Raph yelled at Mikey for 'ruining' his comic book. Leo defended Mikey, but then Raph yelled at him.

A sudden explosion came from Donnie's lab. He was working on retro-mutagen for April's dad. Fireworks came out, and they almost hit Spike. But, Raph came to his protection. Raph yelled at Donnie and took the mutagen, which wasn't the smartest thing to do. 

They went on patrol, even though Raph was angry. It seems he hadn't gone with me. Or, at least that's what you think. You were in Donnie's lab, helping clean up. You didn't notice that Raph and a massive ass turtle left the lair. 

You finish cleaning up only to realize they'd been gone for a while. And that Spike wasn't there. Raph usually left him by the couch so you can play with him. You sigh, maybe Raph took him. Which probably was the second dumbest thing he'd done all day. 

You walk into the kitchen, making a meal for the turtles. Mama and Splinter walked in and smiled. Those two became great friends. After you finished, you went to train with both of them. Then meditated, then repeated. 

"It's odd, the turtles would be back by now." You say. "You're not wrong, but you must stay down here for a little bit." Splinter caressed his beard, putting one hand behind his back. "Yeah," You say, dragging out the 'h' in yeah. 

Then, they returned. All four of them were beaten up. Donnie had a sprained arm, maybe fractured. Mikey and Raph looked bad. Leo had a few marks here and there. "What happened?!" Your eyes widened as they entered the room. 

"Raph's pet got into the mutagen, way to go Raph!" Donnie snorts, moving his fractured arm up and down. "And I got beaten up twice! I got slammed into a metal pole and got dragged after thinking he was Leo!" Mikey exclaims, whining. You did grabby arms, and he hugged you.

You smile. "I got slammed into a window after defending Raph." Leo smiled softly. "What happened to you Raph?" You ask. "I..had to fight him to defend Mikey and Donnie. I lost.." Raph says, voice trailing off. 

"Aw---I'm sorry. I made you guys--food." "Really!? Thanks, Y/N!" Mikey smiles, running to the kitchen to eat. "Thanks, Y/N," Donnie says in his calm voice. You sent an air kiss to him so you make him heal faster.

He caught it, placing it on his arm. Leo followed behind. They got their plates of food and started to eat.

Their eyes lit up. 'Is it bad?' "Bad?! It's good!!" Mikey exclaimed.

You offer them a soft smile. "I'm glad you find it good. I found it in your dad's old recipe book." 

The four turtles ate the food you made. 

"Do you guys need help--getting patched up?"  You ask, your e/c eyes shimmering from the light. 

"Can you help me--?" Donnie grumbles. 

You nod, quickly walking over to the taller turtle. He got up slowly, walking. 

"Where do you need to go first?"
