I recently bought a house, it wasn't perfect but it was at least better than living with my parents. I turn 20 in a month and I really don't want to be know as 'that 20 year old man living in his parents basement'.

The place was cheap and pretty gross, not much I can do about it though. I had invited my friend Sophi over, the place could probably use a make over so why not call up my interior designer friend.

She saw potential but could do absolutely nothing without furniture or decor, I guess that makes alot of sense, she suggested I go to the IKEA nearby.
I'm from a small town so I never had an IKEA to go to, I heard they were big but what's the worst that can happen?

The next day I got ready for my adventure into this place of the unknown, I didn't know what to expect. Maybe some tables, bookshelves, bed frames? I got in my car and drove to the other side of town, the parking lot was full, I had to park on the other side of the street.

Entering the IKEA was like stepping into a whole new world, shelves apon shelves of well, shelves filled the store, people coming and going as they please. Sophie gave me a list of things to buy, before I went any farther I saw the restrooms, probably would be wise to go before I got lost among the shelves.

I finished my business and as I was about to open the door when everything went silent. I left the restroom only to find an IKEA devoid of people, I was confused. I see the exit but instead of leaving I just assumed there was a sale in some other part of the store. I walked further in, I was taken aback by how absurdly large the store was. Maybe I should come back some other time, this was pretty intimidating.

I backtracked trying to find where I came from but all I saw in any direction were walls of shelves. I found the restroom again, right where it should be but when I looked at where the door should be, it was gone. All that was there was a large book shelf and beyond that, more book shelves. I think it's safe to say, now is the best time to panic.
