Inhale.
Exhale.
The birds of the island chirped, the wind blew through the trees. It was a beautiful day, really, but Silver was not focused on that. That's not important right now. What IS important is Silver Spoon spending his time meditating, with Candle. He wasn't normally one to do something like this, he had much better things to do, but he was just... Desperate at this point, really, to find out how Candle did what she did. No matter how hard Silver tried, he couldn't shake that inner flame from his mind. How she just... flew, and nobody seemed to believe him. Maybe that was just showing how much credibility he had-- or the lack of it between the others now, but he knows what he saw. And he either wanted in, or wanted Candle gone.
Inhale.
Exhale.
"This isn't working!" Silver opened his eyes now, frustrated. He could see candle's peaceful expression turn to a frown, as she now opened her eyes too.
"If you're only doing this for selfish, self centered reasons, of course it wont work. That's just how it is, Silver." She spoke, her always calm and mellow voice taunting her. This made him angry, so he stood up now, fully out of wanting to meditate anymore. It was a waste of time. There were no results, Of course there were no results. It just had to be a ploy from Candle to lower his guard! Yes, that's it.
"I'm done trying. I've got better things to do." He'd take up his snobby voice, turning away from Candle, and walking off. Sure, this felt mean, he surely didn't have to make a big deal over this, but he wanted to. There were always things making him meaner than he wanted to be, but he never complained. Being a snob just felt right. It was easier to be like this. He had tried being nice, long before the show, but after that didn't work out for him, he quickly let himself grow cynical and snobbish. It wasn't always fun, being so mean, but it earned him respect. That's what matters now. Respect... and figuring out Candle's deal. That was also very important.
He was so engulfed in his thoughts that he didn't even realize how much time passed until sundown was already on the horizon. There was a tap on his shoulder, jolting him out of his thoughts and back to reality.
