The fear we don't face become our limits.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Anastasia:
Throughout the whole day a sense of uneasiness settled itself in the pit of my stomach, it's because of it that I flinched when Elena placed her lunchbox on the table a bit louder than she usually does to indicate that I should explain what has been going on.
"Ivy, I believe I have been patient for long enough. Will you just tell me what is going on with you?" As soon as she asked the question I suddenly found myself at a loss of words because I hadn't really thought of how to tell her about my horrible past.
"Basically my dad is Nikolai Petrova, a really powerful man that my mom and I have been running away from for two years because he was very abusive but he knows where we are now." I replied as I looked her straight in the eyes.
"Wow, I'm sorry you and your mom had to go through that. So does that mean he's going to come after you now that he knows where you are?" she asked playing with her salad with worry written all over her features. Hunter who was seated next to me also looked at me awaiting my reply patiently.
"It's okay, he won't come immediately he likes playing with he's victims and torment them before he attacks." I replied with irritation clear in my voice.
"So where are you guys staying now?"
"I can't tell you that Ella, the less you know the better." I replied.
"Okay I understand, so is Hunter like your bodyguard or something?" Elena asked eating her salad
"Yes." Hunter replied for himself
The day went by very quickly without any drama, it seems as though many were stressed about the test we wrote of which I'm pretty sure I nailed. When I reached my locker I unlocked it with my key and opened it only for an envelope to fall out.
"Is that yours?" Hunter asked, when I shook my head no, he grabbed it from me and began opening it.
"Just because your brother said you are my bodyguard does not give you the right to just grab things out of my hand." I said and grabbed the envelope back before he could take the letter out.
I took the letter out of the envelope and opened to read it 'я смотрю на тебя мой малыш' in red pen. (I'm watching you my little one.) I didn't have to read it twice before my blood ran cold . I felt my heart thump against my ribcage as all the memories when he called me by the specific nickname, paralyzed me.
"What does it say?Is it from your dad? " Hunter asked me instantly preventing me from venturing further down memory lane.
"Yes it's from him, he has started with he's games." I replied passing the letter to Hunter. We made our way to hunter's car on a mission to get home as quickly as possible. My mind was all over the place, my heart was beating erratically and my palms were sweaty to show how anxious I was. Hunter kept his eyes on the road eager to get back to the mansion. I felt very uneasy and my gut was telling me something was going to go wrong. I knew better than to ignore that feeling so I pushed whatever I was feeling aside and put all my thoughts in the back of my mind and observed my surroundings. As expected I found what I was looking for.
"Do you have guns in the car?" I asked calmly
"Two in the glove compartment and two under each of the seats.Why?" He replied
