Chapter 4
Rose Everest
The door slammed open revealing a girl with a large amount of black on and I shrieked. I put my hand to my heart trying to find a pulse. "The names Abby Silver. Don't talk to me." She yelled and then went to the bed opposite to mine and put earbuds on and lied down tapping on the bed to the music. I stared at her in surprise. That was not what I expected from my roommate. Fine. If she doesn't want me to talk to her then I won't! I'm too scared anyway. I started whimpering. When I saw a pillow rushing towards me. I opened my eyes in surprise and made a fence made of poison ivy clearly stating the boundaries of our room. I was starting to feel better when I saw the vines starting to wither. I started crying when I saw the vines reach the floor and then turn to dust. Abby turned to face me, her face covered by her hood. She looked at the ground and said; "You really need to vacuum the floor. It's REALLY dusty." She then turned back and didn't say another word to me the rest of the night.
