The Future Gentleman Thief

2270, Sherwood; Nightfall

As a thunderstorm rolls in, the sheriff of Sherwood does his announcement to the people.

"Attention, citizens. Insurgents are among us."

As he's doing his speech a young man moves into the warehouse secretly.

"Outsiders with no respect for the rule of law. Continue to invade our homes and steal from us."

The young man wearing black clothes and a red mask steals a ton of kelp pieces and medicine and stuff them in his bag.

"These crimes cannot be allowed to continue. Ungrateful sea-dwellers bring with them crime, hatred for our way of life."

???: Mainly because you take our meds, food, and water.

He says hiding behind barrels. He then steals a small amount of medicine and placed them in his bag.

"We are building a new city."

He makes his way to his exit to escape.

"A city safe from the storms that threaten us and safe from those outside our walls. The Upper City only stays as safe as its borders are strong. I speak now to those who seek to destroy us. Law is the law, and it will be enforced. We of the Upper City will not tolerate this behavior. We will find you. We will arrest you. We will-"

Then the message of the sheriff turns into a seal GIF. The young man then looks at the GIF and chuckles.

???: Sup Sheriff. Feeling in the mood for a swim?

Then all of a sudden a floating squid-looking robot came out of nowhere and swings its tentacle at him. The young man backflips to dodge the attack, but unfortunately, he lost his balance and falls off the platform.

The Drobo looks down to see if the insurgent survived. But it saw nothing, it then brought up an image of the young man and classified him as; Insurgent Phantom.

As the Drobo floats away, all of a sudden a bullet flew through the Drobo's eye and it fell to the platform and died.

The smoke coming from the gun shows a hand holding it and reveals that Insurgent Phantom was alive and holding a calling card as well. He drops the calling card next to the dead Drobo and jumps off the platform and shoots his grappling hook at another platform to catch himself and then disappears into the shadows.

2270, Sherwood; Morning

Down on the surface, people struggle to survive with the low food and medicine.

Insurgent Phantom came into the market to see people hungry.

He kneels to the women and children huddled on the floor.

Insurgent Phantom: Here.

He gives them a piece of kelp to them.

Insurgent Phantom: It's not much but, it'll help you bunch for a week.

Woman: Thank you, Lupin.

Lupin: And here are some meds.

He takes out three small vials of medicine and gives them to the woman.

Lupin then gets up and walks outside to how bad it was. But as he got outside he see Drobos assaulting an old lady named Tui and someone who appears to be her niece.

The old lady pushed he niece into the water to save her and before the Drobos could see Lupin, he jumped into the water.

Lupin sees her rushing back up to help her, but all of a sudden she was brought back into the water unconscious.
