Chapter 4

It's been four weeks with Devon and I've realised that without him,I can't survive. The pain in my neck had gone completely but the bond him and I have created is unbreakable. Now,we completely trust each other and I have no thoughts of running away.

"Goodmorning" I heard Devons hoarse voice behind me,it startled me a little but I smiled when I felt his arms around my waist. He planted a soft kiss on the bite marks on my neck,sending this cooling sensation over my body.

"Goodmorning" I smiled,still feeling his lips kissing my neck gently. I felt a feeling of arousal and I bit my bottom lip,trying to focus on the meal I was making.

"Devon,i-im making breakfast" I croaked out,shutting my eyes when I felt his hands move down my stomach.

"Breakfast huh? I don't want that,I want something else-" His voice became more demanding and deep. His minty breaths hitting my ear.

"Okay w-what else do you want" I said trying to keep my breaths even. His hands squeezed my hips,his lips kissing my ear seductively.

"You always smell so...good" He bit my earlobe as his hands moved to my thighs and gripped it gently. I gasped and shut my eyes. I've never experienced this before. I haven't had a man touch me in a sensual way like this.

"Are you scared hun? Haven't you been touched like this?" I shook my head,trying to keep my breaths steady.

"Wow" He whispered in my ear gingerly. I was madly turned on by the sound of his voice in my ear and his huge hands gripping my thigh. "Wanna head upstairs?" I spun around to face him,taking a deep breath.

"Devon...time for breakfast" I used my clean spoon to spank his hands on my waist. He flinched and rubbed his hands. He looked embarrassed and mad. "You okay?" I put my hands around his neck and kissed his plump lips. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"I want you Hazel"

"Come on...right now?"

He cocked his brows. "Your ass was grinding against me and your moans were filling my ears,what did you expect" I blushed and pulled my hands away but he dragged me back to him and put his arms around my waist,holding me tightly. His green eyes,stared hard at me.

"You're fucking sexy and you rejecting me right now is driving me crazy" His voice now was scary and sexy. I bit my lower lip and looked down.

"The food...is burning" I muttered. He quickly left my waist and yanked the food off the stove,placing it on the beam.

I laughed inwardly, watching him gawk at the food. It was animal meat actually,its what he likes to eat the most.

"No,I'd like to eat you the most" He smirked. He read my mind again.

"You're nasty" I rolled my eyes. He smirked and dished himself some meat and side dishes before kissing my lips and leaving the kitchen.

I found myself smiling and covered my face shyly. God,why does everything he does have to make me blush so hard!
Cause he's fucking hot and you like him Hazel. I heard this tiny voice in my head. I shook my head,still smiling like a bug goof. So,I'm gonna be with him forever. I smiled. Meaning,he's mine and I'm his. I squealed and jumped around in the kitchen,knocking an empty pan over.

"Babe are you okay?!?"

"Yeah,yeah I'm fine,thanks" Shit. You're obsessed Hazel.

Suddenly,still smiling,thoughts of May and everyone else at my workplace came to my mind. My smile slowly faded and I dropped the pot I was washing,sitting on a high stool.

Why wasn't he human,if he was human,I could still be with May and everyone else. My vision got blurry and tears flowed down my cheeks.

"Hazel are you crying?" I quickly wiped my tears and spun around, to find Devon standing behind me. He squinted his eyes at me and rushed over,crouching to look in my eyes.

His eyes widened when I broke down again. He put his arms around me and squeezed me against him,rubbing my back gently.

"I know why you're crying-"

"I'm sorry Dev" The short name just came out naturally. He cupped my cheeks and look in my eyes.

"Why are you sorry,no need to be. I should be saying sorry" He kissed my forehead and hugged me again.

"Dev,that's a good nickname" I chuckled slightly and nodded. He wiped my cheeks and kissed my glistening lips deeply. "I'm sorry" I nodded and connected our lips. Kissing Dev was something like an addiction. It felt like the first time,goosebumps appearing on my skin.

His left hand went behind my neck,his other hand holding my waist. My small hands held his collar as he held me tightly against him,kissing me passionately. I love him. At least,I'm sure of that now.

"Say that to me...out loud" He parted our lips for air.

"I love you Devon" A big smile appeared on his handsome face and he connected our lips again,kissing me roughly as his hands squeezed my hips. His hands went under my knees and lifted me up the stool,carrying me up to our room.

No,we weren't going to have sex or anything like that. He just took me to bed,so I could rest. He lay beside me and cuddled me,stroking my head as we watched Netflix.

"Do you feel better now?" I sighed and kissed his neck.

"Yes Alpha,I feel great" I heard a proud growl from his chest,something that always happens when he hears me call him Alpha or praise him. I rolled my eyes.

"Do you love me back Devon?" He tilted his head and tucked my hair behind my ear.

"I've always loved you since the very first day I knew you were my mate" That's made the butterflies in my belly start a dancing party. I giggled and bit my lip,looking back down at my fingers.

Devon tilted my chin up and just smiled at me,looking in my eyes. His eyes searched my face with a sweet smile. I stared blushing.

"Why are you staring at me like that" He paused for a while before replying.

"Can I kiss you darling?" I laughed and shook my head.

"You're so dramatic,do you even need to ask th-" Before I could finish my sentence,he bent his head and connected our lips,savouring every last taste of my flavoured lipbalm.
