Chapter 7

"Oh my God Jaron,you're hilarious" I held my stomach,laughing so hard I almost toppled over the stool I sat on but Jaron thought fast and held me from falling. His arms were wrapped around my waist,his eyes focused on mine.

I heard someone cough behind us.

"What are you doing Jaron" He quickly released me and stepped far away. I glanced at Devon. He walked over to me and dragged me out of the kitchen.

"Stop dragging me Devon,I'm not your pet" He pulled me to his chest,making me stand on tiptoes. Our lips almost touching. I remembered our sex night,two nights ago.

"Why were you in his arms" His eyes full of anger and clear jealousy. I started having a light headache. I have been feeling a bit sick and right now I didn't need this.

"Devon,we were just talking and I almost fell off my chair"

"I don't care,you're mine and I do not like seeing scenes like that" I sighed my headache getting worse.

"You don't care-"

"You know what I mean sweetheart" He said with clenched teeth. I nodded,feeling drowsy.

"Dev,I'm tired,I don't need this right now please" He stroked my cheek,letting my feet touch the ground. I almost slumped to the ground. He caught me quickly and helped me to the living room so I could lay down.

"What's wrong,are you okay? Let me get you water,alright?" I nodded and he rushed to the kitchen,returning with a cup in his hand and Jaron.

"What's wrong with her" Jaron asked. Jaron is Devon's Beta and was always around to keep me company whenever Devon left for wolf issues.

"Stay out of it" Devon snapped and glared at him,before helping me sit up and putting the cup to my lips. I drank some of the water with my pills before laying on the sofa again. Devon stared at me worriedly.

He touched his palm to my head and kissed my cheek.
"Jaron,get the doctor here immediately" My head started aching again and I was seeing things in 3D. I was confused and rubbed my eyes. My ears started picking up sounds that were too silent to hear,it all confused me.

"Devon,I'm I gonna be okay?" I could see the lines in his beautiful green eyes. I shut them and opened them again.

He kissed my lips and then my forehead. "Yes,I promise you'll be okay,I'm right here"

Few minutes later,a middle aged lady in a lab coat and stethoscope around her neck entered the room.

"I'm sorry I didn't get here on time" She bowed towards us. Devon growled lightly and rolled his eyes. He helped me sit up then faced the woman.

"She's been sick,check what's wrong with her" He said anxiously. The lady studied me carefully and then turned to Devon.

"Please excuse us,Alpha"

"What?" Devon snapped and cocked his brow,clenching his jaw.

"Dev..." He glanced at me and back at the doctor. "Just for a while" He nodded before leaving and shutting the door.

I took a deep breath and glanced at the lady. She bowed to me and smiled.

"I'm Dr Cora,it's an honour being in your presence,Luna" I wanted to say my name's not Luna but I remembered it was my title,I bit my tongue and smiled.

She nodded. "I think I know what's wrong with you but let's not conclude yet" She smiled at me and set to checking my heartbeat first.

"Are you noticing any change in your body? I mean any change at all?" I nodded quickly,having seen her pimple which she tried desperately to hide with concealer.

"Yes um,I suddenly started seeing things more clearly and um,my ears are hearing so much and-" She nodded with a big smile.

"That's all I need to hear" She put her fingers on my neck pulse. She sighed deeply and took my hands,I cocked my brow at her and she quickly took her hands off and coughed awkwardly.

"There's nothing wrong with you Luna,there's just one thing" She smirked and stood up straight.

"You are pregnant Luna,congratulations" I felt like I was slapped across my cheek.

"You said I'm what?" She nodded.

"You're pregnant" I couldn't say anything else,my head just felt light that I suddenly passed out.

Gentle fingers stroking my forehead,awoke me and I blinked twice and rubbed my eyes.
"You're up" Devon's deep voice filled my ears. I sat up and put my arms around his torso,trying to relieve the little pain I was feeling all around my body.

"I couldn't wait for you to get up,I was getting worried. Are you okay now?" I shook my head,feeling hot tears. He kissed my forehead and wiped my tears.

"That damn doctor,she didn't even do anything" My mind suddenly clicked and I remembered something. I put my hands on my stomach and just stared blankly. I'm pregnant?

"What is it" Devon asked. I looked at him. She didn't tell him? Maybe she wanted me to break the new to him myself.

"What is it Hazel,why are you staring at me like that" I bit my lower lip. My heat was racing,what if he doesn't want kids yet. But he had sex with me without protection! I face palmed myself,utterly confused.

"Sweetheart,do not scare me" He clenched his jaw,gripping my shoulder.

"I'm okay Devon,nothing's wrong" He stared deeply in my hazel eyes.

"You are lying to me" He sighed and looked away then looked back at me. I'm having a dejavú right now.

"What is wrong with you" I groaned and put my hand on his chest.

"I'm okay,don't worry" I kissed his neck repeatedly. I heard him laugh but it sounded more like a funny growl.

"You know what that does to me princess" He wrapped his arms around  me and kissed me passionately. He finally pulled away and tucked my hair behind my ear.

"I love you so much"

"I love you too my Alpha" He growled with pride and smirked.

"I love whenever you say that" He pecked my lips and got off the bed. That was when I realised we were in my room.

"I'll get you some snacks,you just rest my love" He pecked my forehead and winked at me.

"Thanks" I mumbled slightly,feeling butterflies in my belly.

I watched him leave and shut the door. Gosh,I'm confused.

Should I have just told him?
