Chapter 3

I think Francisco Lachowski can be Nathan... what do you guys think??

Kassidy's P.O.V

Today is the day! Omg! I get my mate today unless he isn't in this pack, but I can't believe it!

"Kass!" Dan yelled while running down the hallway to my room to jump on my bed next to me. "It's our birthday!!"

Soon after Dan landed on the bed,(he has a weird habit of jumping on me), we heard a howl. I knew all to well was Nathan's. Me and Dan heard the sound of paws running up the stairs and down the hallway before Nathan was in my room as well.

The gray wolf with blue eyes stopped right at the foot of my bed and stared at me.

'Mate! Mate! Mate!' My wolf howled in my head.

I shifted into Destiny, my wolf, and ran up to Nathan. I sat on the carpet and stared into the ocean blue eyes that I had known for so long, but right as I looked into his eyes, he turned right around and walked out of the room. He came back moments later in human form dressed and looked down at my wolf saying the words, "I, Nathan Lee Brant , reject you, Kassidy Nyla Trenton as my mate."

Right then, my heart shattered. Dan growled walking slowly towards his fraternal twin as tears streamed down my eyes. I shouldn't be crying. I knew this would happen.

"Dan." I said trying to get him to stop, but he kept going.

"Dan." I said again.

"Dan, stop!" I yelled, and he looked up at me. His eyes had darkened. He had almost shifted into his wolf. Soon after Dan looked at me, Nathan left without another word. "Dan, leave." I said.

"No, I'm not leaving you here alone. You didn't deserve this Kassidy. If you were mine I would never let you go." He said.

"Leave, Dan." I said in a more demanding voice.

"Kass-"

"No. I said leave, so leave. I'm not going to say it again." I growled out.

Dan walked to the door and looked back at me with a frown on his face before he shut the door and walked down the hallway to go find his own mate. Dan's mate wouldn't be in this pack since I was the only girl with his birthday and I had already found mine, so he would have to go to a lot of different packs to find her. I wish I had my mate.

Dan's P.O.V.

"How could you?!" I yelled at my brother. "She was beautiful, kind, loveable, and you threw that out the window! She was our BEST FRIEND Nathan!"

"I know." He said looking at his feet.

" Then why did you reject her?!" I growled.

"JUST GET OUT!" He yelled at me. And WOW that made my wolf pissed. Don't mess with a freaking Alpha, dude. My wolf wanted out and I mean bad.

'Chill out. He is our brother.' I told Damien, my wolf.

'No one yells at an alpha. Everyone freaking knows that. I'm letting him off this once only because he is your brother. If he does it again then the boy better watch out.' He said back.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell, Alpha." He bowed his head a little in respect. Maybe he saw my eyes. Ok whatever, back to the situation.

"I don't care if you're sorry. You rejected our best friend. "

"I know that. And I am sorry. I just don't think she will make a good mate for me." How in the- you know what... I'm out. This boy doesn't even know the major importance of having a mate.

I walked out of the room shaking my head. That boy, Oh My MG.
