The next day, they had begun their first lesson with 'Ground School' by their excellent Instructor. The Ground School went on for 6 months before they were each given the solo approval to fly the 6.2 Million Dollar Pilatus PC-9/A. Emma and Emily were tasked to fly the 6.2 Million Dollar aircraft in a 'Basic Fighter Manuever' practice.
"Psst Emily! What is BFM? I forgotten already!" Emma asked Emily.
"BFM! It's the event where we dogfight each other until we can't take it anymore! That one!" Replied Emily
"Oh yeahhhh! Well, let's see who will come up on top then!" Emma replied.
"You bet." Said Emily with a ton of confidence.
"Three, two, one, Fight's On!" Said Emma on the radio marking the start of the BFM training. They both fight with their heart to see who is the best amongst them. With each shot attempted by Emma, it was defended brilliantly by Emily.
While they were fighting, they had entered a Cumulus cloud at a low level which could disorient them from the fight.
"No Joy Em". Emily said on the radio when she had no sight of Emma's aircraft.
"Em No Joy, NO JOY EM". Screamed Emily on the radio whiles searching for her best friend.
"Knock it off, Knock it off," Emily's Instructor said to stop the fight. Emily immediately went into worry mode searching for her best friend's aircraft.
She spotted a plump of smoke covering the terrain indicating there might be an aircraft that might have crashed onto the terrain. Emily just kept the radio silent until she made her way back to the base.
