As I hurried back to the place I have to call home, I make sure to wipe all of the remaining mud and rain droplets off my broad and over-exaggerated dress. As I step inside, my eyes are greeted by the pearl white walls and the gold engraved details which I could make out to be different types of flowers blossoming from our aurous coloured family tree. I gracefully float down the hallway to the kitchen, each step making sure my toes are on point and that my dress flows perfectly behind. I did learn this all for a reason, right? As I reach the grand entrance of our kitchen, I see my mother placing her hands on the side and her cooking our gracious meal for this evening. Normally, the kitchen staff would prepare our meal but today clearly mother was being kind-hearted and probably let them go home early. As the father did not agree with this, mother thought that it was nice to once a week let them to enjoy themselves. The only true thing that I wish my mother had more of would be confidence and how often she would stand up for herself only because, as a woman, you are taught the recurring phrase "the man of the house". Personally, I hate this saying because it just proves that a man can't run a household as well as a woman can so that's why my parents think I should marry someone of high standards so then I can let them be the "man of the house". Anyway, enough with my dawdling, back to the story. My father was sat hunched over the table with his "I'm too busy to talk to you" glasses placed on the very bridge of his nose. My sister, however, was perched at the piano bench playing some old classical tunes in which mother and father seemed to enjoy. My mother suddenly stopped what she was doing and nudged her head in the direction of the only other instrument me and Victoria could play, the violin. I walk over slowly, pick up the violin and make sure my body is placed in the correct position and begin to play in time with Victoria. After half an hour, my sister and I swapped so I was on the piano now making sure to keep a straight back and Victoria was making sure she had a clear and straight stance. Once we were both finally done playing, we all sat down for dinner and talked about tonight's agenda. Which again was music. After dinner was all finished I excused myself and made the long aching walk up towards my master bedroom on the fourth floor. Once I finally reached the door with the name "Elizabeth" plastered on the front in gold italics, I push the door ever so slightly and that's when I see them...

Not them as in him, but then as in her. My best friend. Nevaeh Blossom, I call her Heaven though just because I like annoying her. I can always tell when she is there because we give each other nicknames like no other. She's Heaven and I'm Hell. No, I'm joking... Obviously... She's Heaven and I'm Lizzie. Now normally, if people were to shorten my name, it would be to Eliza because it's much more "lady-like" but with Heaven, I don't have to be "lady-like" and so I'm not. Now don't get me wrong, I am straight because at the end of the day, I have to be but Heaven is one of the prettiest girls I've ever laid eyes on. She has chestnut silky hair in which would normally run down past her shoulders but today it was tied back into two french braids. Apart from a few pieces of hair left to just sit around the frame of her face. Her eyes are like the ocean's treasure with deep blues, and a golden ring is woven in just before her iris to represent her natural beauty. She had a small slightly pointed yet button nose with freckles splattered all over. Her cheeks were a rosy red and her lips were pastel but made the clouds go away with every smile. Since she was here, I decided to tell her everything and so I did. Unfortunately, soon it was time for Heaven to leave so she bid her goodbyes and left without a single word said. I still remember how long I'd have to wait until I could see that smile that remained even throughout the pain.

Later into the evening, I heard a slight tapping nose at my window. I placed my copy of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" on my silk bed sheets and began walking over to my overly large window sill. As I steadily made my way over to the window sill, fear suddenly consumed me and questions were flying around my head. Who could it be? Did they want to kill me? What if my parents found me dead in my room? Finally, I plucked up the courage and looked down to the grass below to see them. And yes, this time I actually mean him. Stood there with rocks falling out of his left and some wildflowers freshly picked in his right. I couldn't help but giggle to myself at the sight before me.

The things I'd do to run into your arms right now...
