Chapter Six

                                                                                 Heartbreak 

"Come on Naruto. Wake up!" Sakura yelled at the knocked out blonde. He groaned before sitting up, the woman's breath was taken away for a split second. There sat the man who had alway cared for her and would do all he could to make her happy. But all she did was break his heart and hit him.

"Sakura-chan?" the blonde questioned the female who was staring at him. At the sound of his voice tears fell from her eyes, "Sakura-chan!" Her name was called again by the man who loved her. A bittersweet laugh accompanied her tears, as she realized she either accepted the man's feelings and broke Hinata's heart or decline them and broke her own heart.

"I guess I really do...... love him" at the realization her laughing stopped as she sobbed.

She sobbed for Hinata.

She sobbed for Naruto.

She sobbed for Sasuke.

And She sobbed for herself.

'I would rather Naruto and Hinata get together and be happy, then Naruto and I get together leaving her sad.' with her mind made up she wiped her tears and gave a very very confused Naruto. One. Last. Hug.

"I'm so sorry, I hope you can forgive me."

Naruto POV.

"I'm so sorry, I hope you can forgive me." Why would Sakura-chan apologize? Was it for crying?

She let go and walked off to Sai and Shikamaru. I grabbed my head in confusion 'gahh what's going on'

Third person

"Naruto-kun are you ok?" Hinata askes from beside him, he nods and she helps him stand. The man blushed as Hinata leaned over to check for injuries.

"I'm good, Hinata." the blond sent her a hung grin, causing Hinata to also blush.

What the two failed to see is the tear filled smile Sakura held as she looked at them over her shoulders. 

But Shikamaru and Sai did. 

They say as the tears fell. 

They watched as she let her heart fell apart. 

They watch as her heart broke after just being healed.

"I think it's best to move on before you get hurt, Sakura..." Shikamaru said softly, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"A little two late for that," was her reply. She wiped the tear off her face and smiled. "They'll be a good couple."

It wasn't hard to tell the smile was fake but thankful neither male said anything. It was common knowledge between most of the Friend group Sakura developed a crush on Naruto after the war. The only ones who didn't know were Hinata and Naruto, Sakura plans on keeping it that way.

-Time Skip-

"Okay love birds, it's time to go!" Rosette called for the other side of the cave. Naruto and Hinata looked at each other and blushed.

"WHERE NOT TOGETHER, SAKURA-CHAN!!!" her blonde friend yelled at her. Hinata looked sad for a moment before smiling and nodding along with the man next to her.

"Sure, Sure. whatever you say." she waved the couple off.

Naruto missed the concerned look Shikamaru sent Sakura but Hinata didn't. 'Is Sakura-san ok?'
