Scaramouche wakes up at midnight. He carefully places the sleeping beauty on top of him on the bed and gets up. He closes the curtains next to the bed, closes the door, and went to check on Sayu.
In all honesty, Scaramouche isn't good with kids—well to be exact, he doesn't like them at all. Perhaps it was because Sayu was related to Kazuha, or he's just simply bored and wants to know how it feels to have a kid. (How suspicious)
Sayu's room was straight across from Kazuha's, although it was a bit far, Scaramouche got to her bedroom door in a matter of seconds.
He quietly opens the door. Surprisingly, Sayu has her night lights open. It reflects onto the ceiling, creating an image of autumn leaves—an illusion of fall.
Scaramouche has been into these types of rooms before, although he's concerned why this particular room is unique in some way, different from the rest.
The tanguu he found in bed was surprisingly not asleep. She can sleep anytime, anywhere—That's if, she has the chance, of course.
"Scara-san!" Sayu jumps off her bed and runs over to the man at the door for a hug.
Scaramouche has his arms open, hugging back Sayu. Why aren't you asleep?" He chuckles in a low volume, hoping not to wake anyone else up.
"I got a little scared today.." the ninja whines, "could I sleep with.. Uh.."
"Hm?" Scaramouche bents down to near Sayu's height and pats her head gently.
Most of the time, Sayu doesn't let anyone pat her head, not even Kazuha and Yoimiya. But she just said embarrassedly, "want to sleep with..." she looks at Scaramouche truthfully, "with.. you and onii-chan."
Scaramouche awkwardly giggled. Before he could reply, he heard footsteps behind him.
"Don't want to upset a kid now, no?" A calm voice could be heard near Scaramouche's right ear.
"H-Hey! You can't be scarring people at night!" Scaramouche let out a scream, "I'm going to get nightmares because of you!"
Kazuha sightly grins and grabs him by his hand, "be my guest." He turns to Sayu, "thanks Sayu, you can go to bed now."
"Okay.." Sayu says in a sleepy tone. She closes her bedroom door, turns off the lights, and peacefully went to sleep.
As Kazuha pulls Scaramouche into his bedroom, whines and screams could be heard from the hallway.
