Chapter 5

Kazuha pov:
"Hey Kazu-san, wake up!"

I woke up with a small figure next to me, she was in a cute tanuki pajamas. "Good morning Sayu."

"Good morning..." she replies, in a soft sleepy voice. "Onee-san is back."

Sayu seems happy for Yoimiya to come back home, I watched as she joyfully, but slowly claps.

Seeing her more relaxed than usual, I went ahead and asked her question. "That sounds pretty nice, less work for me.." I joked, "but where's Scara-san?"

She looks at confused.

''Maybe she forgot about him?' I thought while gently patted her head.

"H-hey!" She quickly reacts, trying to stop me from continuing patting her head.

After a little fight between the two, Sayu finally calms down.

"So where's Scara-San?"

"Onii-san, he was never here though?"

I stood up, "what?"

While I was trying to process everything, Yoimiya walked into my room. "Kazuha! Come out! Tomo is here~"

"Coming..." I gave a dead reply and went into the bathroom to brushing my teeth.

During my whole time in the bathroom, I kept staring at my reflection. I tried to clear my mind as I put on my cleanser, but I couldn't.

'Am I insane?'

I spent at least a whole fifth-teen minutes in there, finally going out after I tied my hair up in a low ponytail.

"Dang Kazu, you're actually so slow." Tomo laughed, which in the first time in forever, I didn't find what he said funny.

I ignored him and walked towards the dinning table for breakfast.

"I made blueberry pancakes as you can see..." Yoimiya noticed my annoyed expression, "come on guys, im hungry! Let's eat."

Tomo and Sayu sat down and began eating, Yoimiya also did the same.

The room was dead silent. It was never this awkward, especially with Tomo here. He likes to sometimes spend time with Sayu and I before I go to work and take care of Sayu for a few hours before he has other business to take care of.

But anyways, Yoimiya being Yoimiya, she tried to break the silence, as she finds it really unnecessary for close friends. "Kazuha! I got some news for you!!"

"Hm?"

"Mr. Zhongli is announcing a new movie and he wants you to be the main male lead!"

"Again?"

She nods her head. "So are you interested?"

"....I'm not sure."

3rd person pov:
Yoimiya gives Tomo an unpleasant look, it seems like she's going to have a pretty serious conversation with him after the meal.

"Who's the..." Kazuha mumbles.

"I think it's that Scaramouche guy, not sure though."

Kazuha's eye lit up, "sure! I can go."

"I didn't know you liked completing with that short guy so much." Tomo laughes, almost choking on the piece of cake in his mouth.

"What...?"

"You guys really wanted Lumine's attention last time, no?" Yoimiya giggles.

Kazuha has no idea of what the two were talking about, but he didn't seem to take it to heart. "So are you guys coming with me?"

"Wish I could Kazu, but I have a lot on my plate right now." Tomo answers.

Tomo is currently in a series where he gets murdered by the Ei, who's acting as the Raiden Shogun. Opps, I just spoiled everything, didn't I?

I look at my sisters, waiting for a reply.

"Ahh.. sorry Kazu, but we can't go either." Yoimiya sighs, "it's almost time for the summer festival and—"

"—fireworks, I get it." Kazuha finishes her sentence.

She breathes out heavily, "thanks for understanding."

"No problem.. so when's the plane?"

"In two days. Sorry I just knew! If I saw this email sooner, you know that I would've told you."

"No worries, I'll just get started on packing."

Kazuha finished his food and brings his plate to the dish washer before arriving in his bedroom.

Tomo soon finished shortly after. After he cleans himself up, he also walks into Kazuha's bedroom.

"Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah..." Kazuha pulls out a nice looking leather suitcase.

"Come on Kazuha, you might fool others but as your friend friend, I always know what's wrong."

"Guess what's wrong then," Kazuha answers coldly, and starts to open his closet, looking for clothes to bring on the trip to Liyue again.

Tomo doesn't say anything, he just looks at Kazuha worriedly.

After seeing Tomo struggle, Kazuha finally says, "see? I'm fine."

"Only if you say so." Tomo turns and heads out of the room. "But if you do need someone to talk to, I'm always here."

Kazuha doesn't reply, he is trying so hard to think of everything that happened. Tomo left Kazuha in his room, which made Tomo, himself, feel at unease. But he doesn't want to invade Kazuha's personal space like a time like this. After all, both sides sometimes do need a break from each other.
