(Author's note: this is a big ol practice of mine... i don't own the characters or anything... this is my very first crossover in a long time and out of boredom and sheer determination in trying to complete a story!!... XD wish me luck!!)
Many years had passed, since the mysterious figure had brought Daniel onto the doorstep of the marble mansion on that awful storm. Nothing had ever changed throughout the home yet there were signs that the boy had indeed lived there.
Pictures hung far and few from the home, some were placed on the mantle, and some were mounted on the wall in the lounging pallor. the small infant had raven-black hair, snowy --almost ghost like -- porcelain skin and held a striking pair of blue eyes. A brighter shade of sapphire than the stone itself.
Daniel was no longer the crying little infant, found within the worst winter storms; he was now a grown ten-year-old boy. Woken up by the sound of early morning with its dawn chorus, singing throughout the forest surrounding his home. He happily stretched his body giving his limbs an extra boost of energy. He flung himself out of bed scrambling to shove his covers off him and snagged his bathrobe as he bolted out of his bedroom.
The happy raven-haired boy raced along the corridors of his home, and happily waved or greeted a hello towards the staff and servants as they go along with their usual chores. Daniel slide to a stop as he stood in front two important looking doors; the doors were big and thick looking; they were painted in a snowy white color, with the frames painted with red wines, and a deep brown and small trims of gold.
He smiled and reached for the brown and golden knob, then went inside the room as carefully as he could. Inside the room was dark and quiet, it took a little while for his blue eyes to gleam through the dark with their own light. The room was massively spacious, yet it was heavily occupied by its only resident, and he was still fast asleep.
Daniel walked within the master bedroom and clambered up in the huge bed laying face to face with the sleeping man. The man had silver, almost snowy white, long shoulder length hair; his sleeping face was etched with a sulking and scowling lines throughout his sharp features
The young child beams, reaching out to gently shake the sleeping man awake, and he was met with a sleepy grunt, and locked eyes with a much darker shade of blue. Oxford blue.
"Good morning dad!!" Daniel said with a happy greeting, "did Ya sleep well?" his father chuckles and sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes before replying, "yes Daniel. It seems that you are excited for today's event?" "That I am! But I am also a tiny bit nervous about this whole day. And am I really going to see them?" he wondered, as he slides off of his father's bed and helped shove off the covers for his dad to get up properly.
His father was the eldest sibling out of three, and the only boy in the trio of siblings. Yet Daniel never knew his father had any siblings nor knew that his father had any family to bother mentioning with at the beginning. When Daniel was notified by this sudden but random news (a few months ago) he had to know - hopefully- if there are any family who are the same age as he.
"Daniel? You do know that they will be more understanding with your conditions once you had explained it to them." said his father reassuringly, gently petting the boy's hair out of his face. "I know, dad. But sometimes I kind of wished that I didn't have it." sighs Daniel.
As early as he can remember he learned that he was born with a rare allergy, the slightest touch of the sun on any exposed skin of his will burn intensely and the skin would crack open, he would bleed out with a faint afterwards, he unfortunately inherited from his father who had a far lesser reaction than Daniel did.
His first memory of discovering his awful allergy was way before his accident when he first stumbled and discovered his father's lab during its construction. Daniel still winced at the thought of having to go through with the pain again.
"Don't worry so much Daniel. You'll be alright. Petunia, (Petunia is the middle child out of the sibling trio) as annoying as she is, will help you as best as she could. that I know for certain." stated his father, luring Daniel out of his troubled thoughts. "Now. Why don't we get dressed, and readied ourselves for today's schedule? hmm?" The boy agreed and left his father to his room.
"Good morning Mr. Masters. Your letters." said a butler entering the large dining room, and happily gave Mr. Masters his mail and respectfully left the father and son duo alone. "Who's it from dad?" Daniel asked, looking above trying to see what was written on the letters. Mr. Masters laughs, "just simple bills, and other boring necessities that I unfortunately must take care of before we go off this afternoon."
Mr. Masters is a well-known highly successful billionaire owning more companies than most of his leading competitors. He glanced at his father and felt the same worried feeling as before when his father had stated that Daniel himself will have a small bit of the billionaire's companies as soon as he turns eleven three days from now.
Both he and his father enjoyed a nice and quiet morning breakfast, and he happily followed his father and helped him out as best as a ten-year-old child could. He raced back to his room, once freed from aiding his father with daily tasks, and got ready for the day and started to pack his luggage for later on the day.
Once the afternoon came Daniel helped the servants with his and his father's luggage after he placed his mask on his face and put on his hat which the children calls it 'his samurai hat.' Even though he had never watched television in his whole life! (Too many commercials.)
Daniel then fixed his trench coat and picked up his cane which he uses as a walking staff due to it being high above his shoulders. A gift from one of the lovely secretaries who had to retire a few winters back when he was turning eight. Daniel stepped outside in the hot warm air he was safely hidden from the sun and its deadly rays but never safe enough from the heat and scorch of the summer and its season.
"Ready young Master?" asked the driver, opening the car door to his and Mr. Masters' personal limo, Daniel happily replied, "Indeed I am Mr. Scott! Thank you very much!" He warmly bowed his head respectfully to the man and climbed in the vehicle with Mr. Masters climbing in after him.
he sighs thankfully when cool air struck his mask freezing it instantly, but he kept it on, the only thing he managed to take off was his hat. Knowing better than to take the main two sun blockers was a foolish mistake where he made far too many embarrassing repeats throughout his lifetime to forget again.
The two sat in silence for quite some time (had to drive past miles and miles of roads, highways, fields, and cities to reach the airport.) As their driver navigated towards the airport and its hustle and bustle of people and all sorts. Daniel fidgets a bit and keeps pulling his gloves tightening and releasing his pulse as worry gnawed at his belly as they drew near the platform. "Is mom going to come with us?" he asked, looking up at his father hopefully, Mr. Masters smiled briefly, "she will come meet us at the end of our voyage my dear boy. just calm your worries and keep a calm head. after all you are a Masters."
Warmth by the reassurance his father had given him, nodding to his advice, Daniel closed his eyes and took a couple of breaths he loosens his shoulders back as he sat up straight with his gloved hands laying calmly on top of his lap his fingers a few inches close to his hat. Daniel then opens his eyes and peered through his mask that their driver, Mr. Scott had stopped and opened the car door to.
Feeling excited and having renewed confidence he happily brisked his way to the family's awaited jet and climbed right in, his father in tow. Daniel sat next to the window and from the arm of the plane he watched its engine roared to life and slowly veer off into the skies, it'll take them the whole evening to get there. (I don't fly on planes. Never have been on one, so I am a bit of an idiot about air travel, or travel in gen. I'm so sorry!!)
By the next day tomorrow he'll meet his aunt and uncle and hopefully his cousins and he hoped that they won't hate him for being too different.
((Author's note: again, I never had travel before.... I am unsure of it... but I hope I can get a better understanding of it some day in the future.))
