ANTIDOTE : The last breed

Our world

It's so unfortunate how the world revolves around us, and just opposite of our imaginations of what we thought life really was but the reverse; you're born, grow, fall in love, and if life isn't so unfortunate to screw it over for us, we get sick and die. Because as long as I know, no body dies a virgin, life screws us all.

Instead of reminiscing on the past or future I rather focus on the now, which is two options for me, die or feed. And to feed, I would need to get out of this God-forsaken environment.

She sat on the wooden bed, letting her thoughts wander around with beautiful thoughts of the future and some images of the past that both made her happy and sad. Sanguinex walked in and could feel her disturbed spirit.

{Susan whispered} No, no I want to be human again.

{Sanguinex} You okay?

{Susan} Yeah, sure you good?

{Sanguinex} I'm sorry I haven't got the chance to thank you properly for looking after me all this while, {paused, and no reply} you don't look good, you good?

{Susan} what are you? And why were you naked on that day?

{Sanguinex smiled} I know you need answers and perhaps searching for answers but it would be okay if you feed, you look wasted.

{Susan} I'm not sure I'm hungry, I just don't feel so well; but not to worry, I will go see the healer once I am out of here.

{She got up, adjust the bed and made her way to leave but he stopped her}

{Sanguinex} you don't have to be in a hurry to leave {he got closer to her, and felt her hair as he gently pulled it back} yeah because I know what you are. {Susan felt a bit shocked but he pulled her closer} what are you so afraid of? And why do you feel so comfortable around me, instead of scared? {she pushed him from his grip but he held her even more} I know you know what I am, but you ask to satisfy your curiosity.

He moved with super speed and pinned her against the wall, she quickly turned him against the wall and sneered furiously but he was quick enough to charge back and they both fell to the floor.

{Sanguinex} seriously? that's why I said you need to feed and maybe get some training because you are just too weak for a young vampire.

{Susan} I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do just that.

The fact that she apologised over her own self-defence, drew her more to Sanguinex. he got closer again, stared into her eyes and left again with super speed. she stood hopelessly and confused about what next to do, but couldn't think of anything else than to leave the woods. her emotions got on her so well that she couldn't think straight on what is best for her, so distressed, she soliloquized.

{Susan} what if I had hurt him? for heaven's sake, what is wrong with me?

{Sanguinex} well, you didn't hurt me, so don't punish yourself for no reason, and for heaven's sake, nothing is wrong with you. {He brought forth a cup of blood} I've always known you were a vampire right from the night you entered the woods but I was being protective that night because I thought you were after someone or had {she cut him short}

{Susan} after you?

{Sanguinex} pardon? {she collected the cup}

{Susan} nothing, were you stalking me?

{Sanguinex chuckled} no, I was thinking maybe you had a bad intention, I have more, in case you need more.

she quickly gulped the remaining liquid and handed the cup for more, he took the cup and poured more content from a jar next to him and handed it over, she took it from him and went back to the bed and sat down, consuming it sip by sip.

{Susan} so you are like me too?

{Sanguinex} more like you but a lot more than you.

{we both smiled, stared at each other and looked away. then my thoughts wandered to how good he looked and how sexy he seemed to me, with my eye, I undressed him in my imagination and could only want to feel him in me.}

{Sanguinex} so tell me, who turned you? or  were you born like this?

{Susan, distracted from her thoughts} um... sorry, was lost, what did you say?

{I literally heard him the first time but I just enjoyed the sound of his voice and the way he stares at me when I'm answering his question; but am I flirting with him?}

{Sanguinex} I'm Sanguinex, what are you called.

{Susan} Susan, I'm called Susan.

He couldn't get his eyes off her, they got talking more about themselves as Susan tells how she was bitten, Sanguinex knew what story to tell and what not to tell as one of the ones not to tell was that he was the original; that is, the first vampire and hybrid in Kome: instead he lied that he was bitten by an unknown vampire. and of course, Susan bought his story, they discussed it further including pulling jokes on each other.

{Though he was just all I needed, fun, interesting, good-looking, strong and protective but I know, a new relationship is the least I needed right now; not right at this my early stage of vampirism; maybe there would be a cure somewhere and somehow}

{Sanguinex} you're pretty. {Susan puffed her eyes out in awe and he chuckled} yeah, with your hair like a lost sheep.

Susan smiled hurtfully as she moved in super speed and pushed him to the wall. They both stared at the eyes of each other as their head drew closer magnetically to a deep kiss. He kissed her just as if he has always wanted to, and his soft lips sent warmth to her soul. as she felt the urge to bite, he caressed her and reached for her neck, giving her a thousand kisses.

{Susan groans in pleasure} stop, please stop... I don't wanna hurt you.

{Sanguinex} now is the time to fight the urge to feed, you can bite me if need be, we are no different, just try... this is our world, there's no other.

{Music in the background} She pushed him to the bed and with her super speed she undressed right in front of him; Sanguinex stared at her and smiled, just then, Susan realised that the gift of being a vampire takes away your insecurities and shame of any kind. he pulled her to the bed and gave her the best kisses as he turned her over. she closed her eyes, feeling his lips on the back of her neck, and his fingers tracing the length of her spine; there she imagined greatness.

His hands sent warm pressure on her as he went down on her, sucking her like spice as she moans for pleasure.

He paused, just like a tiger that has seen his next target, he grabbed her and pushed her to the wall using his super speed and crushing anything in their way. shining from his golden eyes was a knowledge of this wild place and a sense that he was at a home he could ever wish for

{I know nothing last in this world but most times we have to grab the bull by the horn. nothing last in this world, not even us but yet, it's our world. and in this world we struggle for survival, we fight and prey over others for survival that was how the creator made it be! and for you to put food on the table and also provide shelter for yourself and loved ones, you do what you gotta do.}

how crazy they were of each other, they helped each other undress in the comfort of their room and on that beautiful bed, they made passionate love.

{Yeah, the feeling was perfect, it was all I'd wanted for a while, his touch unlocked my emotions in his beautiful room. that is twilight and shadow grey standing close enough for me to breathe in his scent, and I know there was chemistry and what we shared was real}.
