>> OFF >>

I was in the middle of work when my phone rang. Who the heck would call this late? I looked at the phone and showed Tay's name blaring on the screen. I know that he would be finding a way to bring me back to the reunion where I'm obviouusly not wanted. After a second of hesitation, I answered

"Tay, you better have a good reason for calling." I said as I answered the phone.

"Sir Off, I'm sorry to have disturbed you. You were on Sir Tay's emergency number second to Sir New's." I assumed it was the female server.

"No. It's alright. Why are you calling me?" I asked trying to hold back the sigh.

"Sir Off, Sir Tay and 2 of his friends are passed out drunk. We don't know where to send them to. We were wondering if you could pick them up or send them his address." she said.

"Two friends?" I repeated.

"Yes, Sir. It's Sir New and a cute liittle guy. I haven't seen him before though." she said.

I checked the time it was almost 2 am. "Don't worry. Just prepare the tab and I'll pick them up."

I grabbed my car keys and drove over to fetch the 3 drunk guys. After paying the bill and giving a generous tip, 2 bouncers carried New and Tay to my car while I carried Gun and placed him in the front passenger seat. It seems that he went straight from his flight as they also gave me 2 luggages.

I dropped Tay and New to their house. Lucky for me, Tay woke up and he carried New inside. I don't think I would've been able to carry both of them inside their house.

I took Gun to my condo unit. Though I didn't want guests, I made sure to get a 2 bedroom unit just for unwanted visits. I aleady learned the hard way when Tay and New crashed at my pad back in senior high. They were such cockblockers. Though this was not the same condo that Gun and I rented back in college, I still got used to having a 2 bedroom unit.

As I didn't want him disappearing on me again, I placed him in my bedroom. I prepared something for his hangover and left it by the side table. I sat on the bed beside him and moved any hair on his face. I can't help but cup his cheeks in my hand.

"Papi." he mumbled making me stunned.

I missed that. I missed him. Having him beside me made the past years disappear. "Welcome home, Gun." I softly said as I wiped away the tear from my face.

"Papi." he mumbled once more this time his brows forrowed. "I'm sorry."

Where have you been, Gun? Why did you just disappear like that?

He suddenly started crying as he apologized to me. I quickly carried him on my lap and held him in my arms. It has been a while since I last saw him having night terrors.

"I'm here, Gun. I'm here." I said soothingly as he rested his head on my shoulder. It took a while but he still calmed down.

I didn't want to try to put him down as I feared he was just a dream. Instead, I moved and lied down on the bed with me still in my arms. He turned to face and hug me. Oh, Gun, your effect on me never wavered. I sighed with the bulge he caused between us. I missed this. I missed hugging him when we slept. I yearned for it too much that I fought hard to stay awake only to be defeated by the comfort it brought.

"Shia! Ow ow ow ow ow!" Gun woke up with his shoutings the following afternoon. He was already at the edge of the bed holding his head.

"There's something for your hangover behind you." I pointed out.

He looked at me then at the glass behind him. He hesitated but still drank the entire glass. By the looks of his reaction his hangover was kicking in.

"You must be hungry. What would you like to eat?" I said getting up. "Stay for a while until you get better."
