"Gun! Gun! Are you here?" I could here screaming from outside.
I've been hiding amongst P'Off's clothes eventhough the emergency power was turned on.
"Gun! Where are you, Gun?" The voice was louder. I could hear the footsteps growing louder as well.
P'Off stood by the closet door and finally found me still clinging onto the emergency bag I packed. I saw him breathed a sigh of relief and pulled me out of his clothes.
"What were you doing there? Are you hurt anywhere?" he asked as he checked if I was injured or something.
"You're here." I said still surprised but still hugged him. I could feel his wet clothes stick to me. "P, why are you drenched?"
"I had a hard time getting a ride from the airport here. I was able to hitch a ride with a motorcycle but he didn't have a spare raincoat. " he admitted.
"I'm glad you're safe. " I hugged him tighter and rested my head on his chest.
"Gun, you'll get wet."
I shook my head and declined to let go until he sneezed. I pulled away and started pushing him to the bathroom. "You should take a warm shower so you don't get sick. I'll make you some soup."
"Dress up first then messasge Tay. He's been calling me as soon as I got back. If your phone is dead you can use mine. It's on the bed." He pointed out.
I did as instructed. I changed into a comfortable set of house clothes and decided to call up P'Tay on P'Off's phone as my phone seems to have died.
"Ai Sat! What took you so long? Have you seen my favorite cousin. Jumpol if something happens to him, I'll definitely kill you." He scolded as soon as he picked up.
"P! I'm your only cousin!" I pointed out.
"Nong! Why are you using Off's phone and why is your phone dead? Where's he now?"
"I was still preparing some stuff when the power went out and my phone battery drained." I explained. "P'Off is drenched so he's still taking a shower."
"At least you're not alone." he sighed.
"I have to go, P. I need to cook some soup for P'Off." I said before ending the call.
I was cooking the soup when emotions started to rush. I wiped away the tears while I kept stirring the chicken soup. I didn't realize I was already crying loudly. I suddenly felt moist arms hug me from behind.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Papi asked as he held me close.
I only shook my head as I was unable to explain myself. I tried to continue cooking but he held my hand and turned off the stove. He led me to the dining area and made me sit across his lap. I noticed he just got out of the shower as he only had a towel around his waist. I could only lean on his shoulders for emotional and physical support.
He held me in his arms trying to soothe me. "It's alright. If you want to cry, don't hold it in. I'm here." He hugged me even after I finished crying.
"P, I'm feeling better now. Let me get you some soup." I said softly.
"You stay there." he said after carrying me to my chair. I watched him stood up and noticed that his towel barely hung on his hips. He already lost his chubby tummy that I loved to pinch. It has been replaced with chiseled abs and the matching adonis belt.
He first served me my bowl of soup before sitting beside me. He smirked to show me that he noticed that I've been staring.
"P, why don't you change first. You might get sick walking around naked." I pointed out as I looked down on my bowl. I can't look at him as I know my face has turned red.
