Spinner POV

I managed to free myself from a student's wrath when I saw Dabi fighting Prince Shoto on the side of a hill like he always does. I watched the fight and noticed a lot of times that Dabi could have seriously attacked him. This wasn't like him at all. I know that Dabi wouldn't hold back an available attack especially that one time he was against the king.

Was he going easy on the Prince? And if so why? I will tell Shigaraki after this attack. But how will I prove to him that his crush might be betraying us.

After the unsuccessful and meaningless attack

Everyone was in their rooms apart from Shigaraki, Kurogiri and me. I told what happened during the attack and the possibility that Dabi might betray us but he doubted me saying "Dabi wouldn't hold back on a fight even if it is against a royal" I got annoyed "I know you love with him but trust me it is true" and he got irritated. Then Kurogiri suggested "Why don't you see for yourself, Tomura?". It was then settled.

Shigaraki POV (one week later)

I planned another attack this week to see if Spinner was telling the truth. In the middle of the attack Spinner and Kurogiri came in to distracted the deku and Bakugo kid. This was my cue to leave and find Dabi. I went to find him and saw him fighting the Prince. I watched closely and noticed that Spinner was right about the purposely missed attacks on him.

My heart sank. What if he was betraying us? What if he is on the knights side? I snapped out of thought when Compress yelled "Shigaraki! I think we should retreat!!" I yelped "Kurogiri, get us out of here!".

When we arrived back Dabi said he needs to fix himself up in his room. As soon as he left I slouched on the couch and was thinking only to be interrupted by Spinner "Did you see?". Toga, Twice and Compress were confused and said "See what?". Spinner explained and I whispered "I saw with my own eyes" and continued "Is he betraying us?". Toga hugged me and said "No, Dabi would never. He is like the big brother I never had" she let me go "Plus, he did tell me that he didn't like fighting kids"

I nodded thinking that she was correct. However Spinner said "We still can't be sure though" and another worthless yet oddly quiet argument started. They probably didn't want Dabi to hear. Then Compress spoke "There is only one to settle this scene" he said "We must confront Dabi tomorrow!". Everyone agreed to this suggestion and went to sleep. I still couldn't help but worry.
