"Which subject are you worst at?" You asked. Hermione thought for a moment.

"Um..." She said. "Probably defense against the dark arts."

"Let's begin there." You said, grabbing a defense against the dark arts book. "Thankfully for you, this library has tons of defense against the dark arts books and defense against the dark arts is one of my best subjects." Hermione smiled and opened a book. Just then a group of girls scurried in and hid in an aisle. Hermione sighed. "What?" You asked.

"That's Krum's fan club." Hermione said. "They follow him everywhere. Honestly, I don't know why Krum comes to the library. He doesn't seem like the reading type."

"Yeah." You said. "He doesn't." Hermione looked down at her book.

" 'Greatest dark wizards of two era's'." Hermione read aloud.

"Oh, you're going to need that." You said. Hermione began to read aloud quietly.

"There are plenty of dark wizards in the world but in the past two era's there are only two who clearly rise to the top. Gellert Grindelwald and Lord Voldemort. Gellert Grindelwald was a complex figure, highly idealistic and talented, dedicated to achieve his ends at any cost. A revolutionary operating outside the law, he and his followers committed numerous crimes, including several murders. With violent acts in both the United States and Europe, Grindelwald ultimately established a power base at Nurmengard Castle in Austria. In 1945, at the height of Grindelwald's power, Albus Dumbledore confronted and defeated him in a legendary duel." Hermione looked up at you. "That's very interesting!" She said. "Dumbledore rarely ever talks about that!"

"I know." You said. "Let me see what it says about Voldemort." Hermione passed the book over to you. Voldemort is motivated by immortality, superiority, racial cleansing, and more than a bit of self-hatred. Voldemort went to Hogwarts and there he was known as Tom Riddle. Riddle was outwardly a model student, but was in reality a psychopath who took sadistic pleasure in using his powers to harm and control people. He eventually murdered his father and grandparents as revenge for abandoning him."

"He actually did that?" Hermione exclaimed in horror. "That's so... evil!" You closed the book.

"That's what you get for reading," You quickly glanced at the title. "Dark wizards, how they rise, fall, and why they did the things they did." Hermione gave you a slight smile.

"Let's move on to potions." She said.

"Sure." You looked through the pile of books you and Hermione had collected. "I don't see any potions books in here." You said. "I'll go grab some."

"Okay." Hermione said. You got up and went looking for potions books. After a minute you had found one but it didn't look too promising for Hermione's O.W.L.S.

"Vhat are you looking for?" You looked up to see Krum.

"Potion's books." You said. "I'm helping my friend study for a test."

"Your friend has a test this year?" Krum asked.

"No. She has it next year." You said. "She's studying ahead of time."

"That is a good plan." Krum said. "Vould you like my help?"

"That would be nice." You said. Krum began to help you look for potions books. "What happened after Harry went into the chamber?" You asked Krum.

"Dumbledore asked him if he put his name in the goblet of fire." Krum said. "The boy said no. Then they made the decision that the boy vould have to compete in the tournament." Krum handed you a thick book called 'dangerous herbs and fungi'. "Is the boy a friend of yours?"
