The door to Sheila Bennett's home opened and in walked a thirteen year old Bellamy and fourteen year old Bonnie Bennett. "Hey grams." They greeted cheerfully. Sheila smiled lovingly at her granddaughter but only gave a mere glance to her grandson "Hello child." She greeted Bonnie warmly and ignored Bellamy as if he never even existed.

Bellamy's smile faltered at that and he just walked up to his room, once he got there he grabbed his suitcase and packed his clothes and his essentials. He grabbed his phone and called someone he met not so long ago.

"Hello?" The person greeted

Bellamy took a deep breath. "Katherine, I need a favour." he said hesitantly. Katherine smirked. "Ah, little witch, I thought you'd never call. What's this favour of yours?"

Bellamy already knows about vampires, werewolves, witches, dopplegangers and whatnot. He did some heavy research once he found out about his heritance.

"I need you to help me run away." He said after a moment of silence. Katherine burst out laughing. "You must be joking? You? Want to run away?" She questioned in disbelief. Bell rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Yes, I want to run away. Will you help me or not?" He said exasperatedly.

"Fine, i'll help you. You're talking with an expert after all." She joked. "Really?" Bell was beyond surprised that she caved in so easily. "Yes really. But you owe me. Where to?" She asked. Bellamy didn't know where he was gonna, to be honest so he said the first place that came to mind. "New Orleans." "Perfect, meet me at the grill in an hour, be ready." With that she hung up. Bellamy was excited to finally leave this shit town, to finally leave behind the family that either never cared for him or was never around.

Bellamy looked at the time and saw that it was almost time to meet Katherine, so he picked up his suitcase, walked down the stairs and opened the door, before he could leave someone stopped him. "Where do you think you're going all packed up?" His grams asked coldly, sitting on the couch with her arms crossed.

Bellamy cursed the universe in his head and turned around. He felt this burst of confidence flood through him and for the first time in his whole life finally stood up to his grandmother. "I'm leaving! And there's nothing you can do to stop me. You treat me as if I'm some piece of garbage, dad is never around and Bonnie either doesn't care or she doesn't notice.  There's nothing left for me here so I'm leaving. Goodbye and don't come looking for me!" He stated with a glare on his face.

Sheila was shocked by his outburst, since she never expected him to stand up for himself. She soon got herself back together and looked at her grandson with a determined expression. "Go back upstairs and unpack child. Don't make me make you!" She ordered.

Having enough of this Bellamy grabbed his bracelet with a tight grip and siphoned from it, not that he needed to because despite having the ability to siphon Bellamy could still generate his own magic, he just wanted to have enough magic for the spells he's about to use, and instead of seeing a red glow it was a blue one, when he siphoned enough magic, he raised his hand and said with a determined voice. "Ad Somnum." with that Sheila fell asleep on the couch. He walked over to her because and put his hand on her forehead. "Obliviscere." He whispered and erased her memory of what just happened. He sighed and left the house and walked to the grill with the suitcase to meet up with Katherine.

When he arrived at the mystic grill, he was quick to notice the doppleganger disguised with sunglasses, a stylish hat and an expensive but casual looking dress. "Took you long enough, little witch." She said in annoyance when he walked up to her. "Sorry, got a little held up." He apologized sheepishly. The Pierce rolled her eyes and gestured to her car. "Get in we have a long journey ahead of us." With that order they got in the car and drove their way to the lively city also named New Orleans.

After hours of driving they finally arrived and stood in a cozy appartment in the French Quarter. "This is where we part ways, Bennett witch. I took care of everything. Money, an appartment, school, even some grimoires." The Petrova listed off.

"W-what?! You really didn't have to do all that Katherine and I already stole some grimoires from Grams' house. Just bringing me here would've been enough. Does this also mean I owe you even more?" He asked hoping otherwise. She chuckled and with an amused smirk said "I know I didn't have to do all that but I need you alive for when I take you up on that favour and about the grimoires keep them. If you learn more magic then you'll be more useful to me. There are grimoires about Traveller magic, Traditional magic, Black magic, Spirit magic and Ancestral magic. You'll need them especially Ancestral magic since the witches here mostly use that."

Bellamy was really thankful and shrugged off the fact that a vampire even had any grimoires. "Thank you Katherine, really." He said greatful for the things she's done for him. "Don't mention it, just stay alive. Oh, and I faked your death also. That way no one's gonna come looking for you. Your name is Bellamy De Luca now." She shrugged off his greatfullness and left without looking back after.

Bellamy couldn't believe this was finally happening, he felt relieved, he felt free.

AN: Hi guys, this is my first time writing a story and I hope this chapter was decent because I kept deleting and re-adding sentences and words. I just want to say that English isn't my first language so words will probably be written wrong and sentences will sometimes be worded weirdly so if you notice any of that please inform me.
