It is currently 12:30pm on a Monday. you're really scared for tomorrow, since you've been acting you haven't been going to school, and tomorrow you're going for the first time in a long time. to add to your overthinking, when you left school you weren't famous and now.. well now you are.
Your scared as fuck.
"what if I trip and everyone sees?"
"what if I can't answer a question and get it wrong?"
"what if none of my friends are in and I'll be by myself?"
"what if my outfit sucks and everyones judging me?"
Now your at the verge of tears, you shouldn't be scared of something as stupid as school, yet here you are. You thought of calling your best friend but you didn't wanna disturb her since she also had school tomorrow and you didn't wanna make her overthink as well.
Then you thought of someone who was always there for you. Jayla. She didn't have school tomorrow.
You got your phone and clicked 'FaceTime' without thinking and show a corner of your face so she wouldn't be able to see the few tears that fell on your cheeks.
J: "y/n?" she answered in a croaky and tired voice.
Y: "hey babe" you say trying not to sound sad.
J"are you alright what happened?"
Y:"nothing I just couldn't sleep so I called you"
J: "bullshit. talk to me."
Y: "im scared for tomorrow I dont know what to do. I haven't been in school in months. im really scared"
J: "no, no, no y/n your gonna be fine I promise you. your literally the best person to be around, everyones gonna love you. I promise you.
you were about to respond when she interrupts you.
J: "okay listen. im gonna collect you an hour before school starts and we can get a coffee or something, yeah?"
you blush slightly which makes her giggle.
Y: "I love you jayla"
J: I love you too y/n/n"
you kiss the camera which makes you both laugh loudly.
J: "ew that was so cheesy" she says in between laughs.
we have a few small conversations and you both get tired. you rest your phone on the pillow so she can still see you and she does the same.
She tiredly whispers a few things before we both fall asleep on FaceTime.
