This was it.
Jungkook stood at the edge of the street, the cafe at the other end. From what he knew, the cafe was one of the most prosperous ones out there, flaunting its delicate french cuisine to all its competitors leaving them speechless. 'Le Gavroche' even the name mocked them, teasing them, telling them that they could never live up to their standards. Typical place for a date when you're a rich business man. His dad had planned to meet up with him there with a simple text, no 'hi', no 'hello', not even an apology, just the statement to meet his son outside. Of course Jungkook being the petty bitch he was just left his poor dad on read. Deserved.
He slowly started to walk towards the cafe, his eyes darted around the street. So many people were just minding their own business without a care in the world. Lucky. He'd left the Kims' home fairly early after eating the breakfast not wanting to burden them. Well, he wasn't going to be a burden to his dad for a while too. Burden, was that really all that he was to his father? Maybe, probably. Get rid of your son and your company would be rich; great motto right. Whatever deal his dad struck up with this stranger was the epitome of stupidity. The deal, another problem. Were there rules, regulations, when it was going to start, did his dad know what he was getting his son into. His sperm donor really fucked up.
He reached the cafe.
He could hear glasses clinking, a quiet murmur of voices and an odd laugh or so. It screamed wealth and Jungkook never felt more out of place. Glancing down at his black turtleneck and trousers seriously wishing he'd brought a suit jacket. He could see it hanging in the wardrobe back at home and remembered the debate he'd had on whether or not to wear it. Stupid, stupid stupid! His fathers words, well text, rang in his ears: 'Wear something formal, like your suit." Now Jungkook wasn't stupid enough to wear a suit to a cafe but this wasn't even close to what a cafe was supposed to be like. Costa would be quaking in fear if it was.
He was about to enter before he heard someone calling his name. Ah, the sperm donor. His father quickly climbed the steps before giving his son a quick glance over, "You're lucky I went home. Here take your suit coat."
If he thinks I'm going to say thank you he's going to be waiting for his whole life. The boy begrudgingly took the coat and replied to his dad's admonishing tone with an equally cold one. "You're lucky I even turned up," before turning back around and opening the door. As much as he hated to admit it, the jacket did boost his confidence and he went to the host asking for a 'Mr Park'. His whole demour immediately changed and Jungkook noted the fear in his eyes. The, now trembling, man led the father and son to a private room, the murmurs died down to a gentle hum but otherwise it was silent.
"He will be with you shortly." And he left.
Jungkook refused to look at his father and just took a chair for himself and stared at the menu, his pupils didn't move. The clock in the corner ticked, 10 seconds, 30, a minute. Five minutes later the door opened and in stepped a man. He was no more than 30 with cruel calculating eyes. Jungkook's eyes wander down his face resting on the man's plump lips. Oh how he'd wish to feel them on his own- JUNGKOOK YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND. But still, no one could resist lips like those. His father jumped to his feet, a fake smile resting on his face and fake enthusiasm lining his voice.
"Mr Park! Hello, so glad you could make it." Mr Park obviously wasn't impressed but decided it would seem impolite not to answer.
"Good day Mr Jeon. You seem to be in a chirpy mood." No answer. That was when Mr Park looked around and spotted Jungkook. "And this must be your son."

His son, oh my!
Black silky hair was parted exposing the young boy's forehead. Small delicate lips and a perfectly straight nose accentuated his face but what really stood out was the boy's eyes. A soft chocolate brown and they were so beautifully big. Bambi. My Bambi. Jimin peeped a smile and offered his hand to Jungkook. The boy accepted it with a small smile while standing up. How well mannered.
