Chapter 14 - The Next Level

We start off with a tropical view. Bushes, trees, flowers, a lake, and waterfalls. If you zoom back a little, you'll find a familiar blonde taking a picture of the view.

Bethany turns around looking around, happily. She looks down at her phone and starts texting someone. "Leaving this to come see you. And I can't wait."

She first sends it to someone personally, who was currently finishing up a little session.

After the spar ended, he takes off his Gi and checks his phone. It was the picture that Bethany took. Y/n smiles and texts her back. "Same here. Did you tell the others?"

He just put his shoes on when she replied with "Just now". He says bye to his peers and bows to his sensei before walking out to his car.

Meanwhile, Martha walks up to her bed and sees the text from Beth. She smiles before texting her back.

At a gym, Fridge was currently finishing up his weightlifting. He chuckles as he finishes up and checks his phone. It was a response from Martha in the group chat. "So excited!"

He smiles as sees Y/n entering the chat. "Nora's?" He chuckles as he texts back.

Meanwhile in New York, Spencer was at work restocking the shelves. His phone vibrates and he checks the group chat to see Fridge respond with "Hell yeah!"

He gets caught by his boss who simply gave him and warning and told him to finish stocking the shelves.

Later that night, Spencer was carrying his suitcase to the bus stop, when it broke. As in the handle broke off and the suitcase fell.

He groans as he picks it up, which was pretty heavy for him. He was, thankfully, able to carry it the whole way and made it to the bus on time.

As the bus drove, he checks his phone to look at all the Instagram posts from Martha. He continues scrolling, looking sad, for some reason.

The next day, he arrives at home with his mom and she unlocks the door for him. "Dad, we're home!" She called out.

"I'm in the kitchen!" A voice yelled back, as Spencer noticed the stair lift at the bottom of the steps. "Jan, Spencer! In the kithcen!"

They walk in and saw him trying to replace a light bulb. They both run up to him in worry. "Dad! Are you on a ladder!? What are you doing!?"

"Grandpa!" Spencer exclaimed as he came to his side.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm changing your light bulb." He said, as if it was the most obvious thing.

"I leave you alone for 10 minutes, you're climbing ladders?" Spencer's mom asked, in worry.

"Don't think you should be doing that." Spencer said to his Granpda, as he slowly stepped off the ladder.
