Chapter 12 - Begin the Climb

Out from the bushes comes Fridge riding an elephant! Everyone was so shocked and surprised that Van Pelt had let go of Bethany.

"ZOOLOGY BITCH!!!"

After a few beats, Van Pelt looked to the Jaguars, commanding them to attack. And they did so, causing the elephant to go on the defensive.

But in doing so, Fridge slipped off and had let go of the Jaguar's eye, which flew towards an edge.

The whole commotion had scared the elephant, making it run off past Spencer and Martha, whom both realized something.

"Elephant!"

"Begin the climb!"

"I'll get you the jewl!"

"Martha..."

"Just go!"

And so they all split up. Spencer hoped on the motorcycle and drove up the statue. Martha parkour'd her way up the hill to grab the jewl, the problem was that it was surrounded by a sea of snakes.

Y/n and Alex went to Bethany's aid. Y/n moved her out of the way, while Alex shoved Van Pelt to the ground. After a minute of brawling on the ground, Russell kicked him off and made his way up the hill.

He was stopped however by Y/n who ran up behind him and jumped on his shoulders. Y/n leaned back and brought Van Pelt down with him.

They both get up and Y/n goes for a right hook, but Van Pelt evades and punches Y/n, throwing him off balance.

Y/n looks back to see Van Pelt holding his gun at him and shoot him, dead.

"Y/n!!!" Bethany and Alex shouted.

Thankfully, Y/n has one life left, so he respawned. However, it gave Russell a chance to make his way up.

Meanwhile, Martha had just grabbed the jewl as the snakes turned their attention to the man controlling them. "I'll take that."

Martha only tightens her grip on the gem. Van Pelt sees this and telepathically turns the snakes' attention to her. "Game over."

Their attention was taken from Spencer, who was even closer to the Jaguar statue. "I don't think so." Martha responded.

Spencer grabs a rope and prepares to throw it. "Venom's my weakness." Martha stated, before stepping on a snake, making it bite into her.

She smirks before she dies, causing Van Pelt to panic. She starts to respawn as Spencer uses the rope to swing up the statue, just as Martha falls by and passes him the jewl.

She lands on the ground the same time Spencer lands on the statue and places the jewl back into the statue.

"Yes!" The others exclaimed. However, after a few seconds nothing happened.

Van Pelt smiled, thinking he won. Along with everyone else.

"Call out its name." Bethany remembered. The others heard her and realized what to do.

"JUMANJI!!!" Everyone called out, causing the gem to glow and send out waves of green light. Wave after wave after wave, Jumanji was being restored. Down below, Van Pelt was starting to grow weaker as he disintegrated into rats and bugs.

After a few more waves, a bright light had shone. Everyone was back on the ground, laughing and whooping.

Pretty soon, Nigel pulls up in his jeep. He hops out laughing. "Congratulations adventurers! You lifted the curse! All of Jumanji thanks you. Sadly, this is where we part ways."

Nigel stuck his hand out, for the players to shake and go home. "Oliver Williams."

Y/n walked forward before glancing back at the others. "See ya at home guys."

He extended his hand and shook Nigel's hand, both wearing smiles on their faces as Y/n started to disintegrate and disappear with a green glow...

Chapter 11 and 12 done. Time to head home...
