We start from where we left off. The gang had followed the girl into a small part of the market. In the center of a tiny shrine, was a basket.

"What you need is in the basket, one false move, your in a casket. Trust one another, and never blink." The girl said, before turning towards them. "The missing piece is not what you think."

"Oy vey." Spencer said. Meanwhile, Y/n was trying to solve the riddle. 'Not what we think? Is it not the map?'

"Good luck mighty hero." The girl said to Spencer. "Jumanji needs you." She finished, along with Fridge. "We know, you said it several times."

And with that, she ran off. The group were staring at the basket, mostly in fear.

"So, I'm guessing there's a uh... a snake in there, or something?" Spencer asked.

"Yep, sounds like a Bravestone thing to me." Fridge said. "Why would this be a Bravestone thing?" Spencer asked, freaking out a little. "Why not an Oliver thing?"

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't make me go in there!" Y/n said, obviously freaked out. "She was talking to you, so this your time. Now get!" He said, pointing.

After calming himself down, Spencer started walking to the basket, slowly. Just then, drums started playing from thin air.

"I DON'T WANNA DO THIS!!" Spencer said, finally letting it out. "Just go!" Fridge and Y/n said to him.

After calming down, again, he walked around the basket, with the others in front, and opened slowly opened it. And out came, a snake. But not just any snake...

"BLACK MAMBA!!!" Fridge screamed, panicking along with the others. Spencer slammed the lid back on and the snake started trying to get out.

"That's a black mamba. A quarter milligram of its venom is enough to kill an adult. You'll feel a tingling in your mouth and extremities, followed by a fever, foaming at the mouth, and ataxia, which means loss of muscle control." Fridge said fast, before realizing what just happened. "How do I know that!?"

"What do we do?" Martha asked. "See anything else in there?" Y/n asked. "I didn't have time." Spencer answered.

"Okay, guys focus! 'Trust one another and never blink'!" Y/n said, trying to help everyone think of an idea.

"Gasp You guys, I think it's a staring contest!" Bethany suggested. "What?/What are you talking about?" Martha and Fridge asked.

"Think about it. 'Never blink'?" Bethany reminded. "She might be on to something." Y/n stated.

"I think she's right. At camp, they used to tell us that if you see a rsttlesnake, then don't move. I think someone has to make direct eye contact and not blink." Spencer told them.

"And then, Spencer will reach in and grab whatever else is in there." Y/n said. "What? Why me again!?" Spencer asked.

"Because you still have 3 lives!" Y/n reminded him. "So does Fridge!" Spencer retorted. "I am not sticking my hand in there!" Fridge said to them both.

"Okay, fine! Who's good at staring and not blinking?" Spencer asked.

Bethany takes a deep breath and says, "I'm amazing at it." Martha looks at her and says, "Then this your moment."

"You sure Beth?" Y/n asked, a little worried. "I got this Y/n." She tried to reassure him.

Bethany then walks up to the basket and gets on her knees, taking deep breaths. "Just say when." Spencer told her.

After a few more seconds of deep breaths, Bethany finally said, "Now."

And so, Spencer lifted the lid, the snake came out and looked directly at Bethany. Not a moment later, it flashed its fangs at her, making her scream, and Y/n pull her away from it. It then jumped to Martha, about to bite her, but Spencer caught it.

"What do we do!?" Spencer asked, freaking out. Just then, Fridge realized something. "You gotta defang it." "I gotta what!?"

Fridge walked up to it and grabbed its head, too. "You gotta pull his mouth back from the blind spot to disorient it. But you gotta be very careful of the venom gland and the exposed secondary venom duct." He said this, before pulling out the fangs. "Then you gotta snap its teeth, out of its head."

And with that, the snake fell. Everyone was recovering from that very intense moment. "I guess it wasn't a staring contest." Bethany said.

"You think?" Y/n said to her. "'Trus one another, and never blink.'" Martha repeated. "You trusted me. You trusted me and I defanged the snake." Fridge realized.

"Chuckles You okay Beth?" Y/n asked sticking his hand out to her, which she grabbed after a few seconds. "Yeah." She answered.

They both walked up to the basket, and saw a wrapped package. Beth grabbed and untied it. "You guys..." she grabbed their attention. "This does not look like the piece of the map." She finished, pulling out a elephant shaped chess piece. "The missing piece is an elephant?" Spencer asked.

"Well the girl did say 'the missing piece is not what you think'." Y/n repeated. "Wait, there's something written on the wrapping paper." She said before reading. "When you see me, begin the climb." She read.

"'Begin the climb'? When you see an elephant?" Martha asked. The others were trying to figure out what it meant, but Fridge was still thinking about the event that just transpired.

"I defanged a snake." Fridge chuckled. Y/n just looked at him with unamused eyes and a smirk. "There's still other things you'll be able to do Fridge." Y/n said to the zoologist, before turning to the others. "Now come on guys, let's find the next level."
