The fame rolled in with waves.
Sure, Asterions had their moments after their first album, TORNADO, came out. A few concerts, all small, yet, sold-out venues. There were some interviews, some Tik Tok sounds gone viral, maybe two or three red carpet events.
It all didn't matter to Min, though. Kat and Rody seemed to quite enjoy dressing and looking the part, playing nice to rise through the ranks of social class, they glowed in front of every camera aimed in their direction, loving every fan that asked for a picture or an autograph.
Not Min.
Though it was clear amongst their fanbase that Min was favored, whether it be for his attractiveness or his voice, he never really cared for it.
One day, I had caught Min in the rehearsal room, alone. He was playing a beautiful symphony on his grand piano, body moving like lake water to each note. There were papers that surrounded him, filled with words and rhymes, sketched with drawings that filled his mind. I let him finish his song and jot some notes down before I spoke, because I knew he enjoyed his creative process before anything else. "You need to get ready for the interview", I softly said.
Min sighed. "You know, if I could be in here all day, I would."
Which was true. It seemed that Min's PR team thought it'd be best to keep the Asterions ''tame" until their career really took off, which we all agreed to. We agreed to make damn sure this band of problematics with daddy issues didn't make fools of themselves, or do anything remotely controversial until they were famous enough to address it themselves. Min just wanted to do what he wanted, and restricting him wasn't the vibe, and I hated seeing Min fucking dredding his life. Not responding in interviews, furrowed brows in clothes fittings, slouching down in shows.
It was clear that all Min wanted to be was himself.
And I only cared about him being happy.
That is when I told the Asterions to write whatever the fuck they wanted, no filter. I told Merei to design what the band had wanted and not to talk to PR in the meantime. I knew that all the band needed was momentum and confidence and freedom to be the best.
I handled the rest.
After two hours of my strategy coming out of my scorpion's tongue during a meeting with Fumikage and his people, I finally got all the creative rights to the band. The PR team would have to go through me before they told us he band to do anything anything.
It was Hawks Enterpise's fault. They're team just couldn't read numbers and contracts like I could, couldn't foresee the future like me.
Two years later, Asterions' second album came out; S.T.O.R.M.I. was released to the world.
Is there really that much else to explain?
Within two weeks, the band had 3 songs on the Billboard Hot 100; Pass The Nirvana, The Cult Of Dionysus and Crying Lighting.
By my birthday, Asterions were planned for a North America tour in the summer, with the possibility of a World Tour in one year. By March, they're following reached the millions, and they were invited to the Met Gala. By April, they were on every talk show you could fucking name, and they were on the cover of Vouge. In May, the tour started first in California, moving more inland.
