A few days passed after the eventfull night (not) where I saw my ex-boyfriend. I got up and decided to go for a run. I put on my new darkblue sportslegging and matching sportsbra topped with a cropped white shirt and high white socks. I put my hair in a high ponytail, put on my headphones for some music and headed towards the park nearby.

I still hadn't heard from Lando. I figured he was busy with racing a very fast car, lol. I tried to look into F1 and found it very interesting. I made a promise to myself I was going to watch the next race. Anyway I wanted to send him a message again but didn't want to come over as desperate, so I didn't.

When I arrived at the park I started my run. I was so in my own thoughts that I didn't hear someone call out my name. Suddenly I felt a hand tap my shoulder and I jumped. When I turned around I saw him standing there. The boy I couldn't get out of my head. And ofcourse I should run in to him when I looked like a garbage bag.

"Hey, fancy running into you here." He said with a wide grin.

"Hi!" Was the only thing I managed to get out. I was shocked.

"So.. how have you been?" Lando asked. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Good actually!" I smiled. "How have you been?."

"Good. Really busy, you know racing and all." He looked behind him. I saw he was with a group of what I thought were his friends.

"What are you doing here anyway?" I asked curious why he was at the small town where I had lived my whole life and I knew for a fact that he didn't live here.

"We're filming a Youtube video actually. And one of my friends lives close to this place so." I nodded in response understanding.

"I should get back. But it was really nice seeing you again." He said. While he said that I thought I saw a hint of sadness wash over him. Maybe I was wrong.

I nodded awkwardly. I really wanted to see him again, talk to him again. Maybe he wanted that too? I haven't felt like this since I met my ex-boyfriend. I couldn't say nothing. I had to say something. Quick Heather, think of something.

"Maybe we can meet up sometime." I blurted out, mentally slapping my head. Real smooth Heather, not desperate at all. "I mean, if you want to." I quickly added.

Lando's eyes lit up. "Yes, I'd like that. I'll message you so we can set a date." He said before winking and walking back to the group.

I stood there looking at him walk away. I couldn't hide my smile and quickly turned around. I continued my run, after looking back at him one last time.

Lando's POV

I was with my friends filming a video for the quadrant Youtube channel. We were just done with setting up when I saw a familliar face in the corner of my eye.

I turned around to take a good look. It was her. The girl that had been in my head since I met her. She was beautiful and way out of my league. I wanted to message her after our small conversation on instagram but I just didn't dare to. I was scared she would reject me. She didn't message me either so I figured she didn't like me like that. Yet I felt myself calling out her name.

"HEATHER!". She didn't hear me. I saw she was wearing headphones so I ran after her. Luckily I have a good condition.

I ran to her and tapped her shoulder. She jumped and turned around looking at me in shock. She took off her headphones.

"Hey, fancy running into you here." I said feeling my cheeks heat up. I smiled at her. She looked so beautiful, even with no makeup on and a messy ponytail.
