The Right Moment | Lando Norris X Reader

Part five

It was now one day before our trip to silverstone. I was packing my suitcase because we would be staying at a hotel near the track, eventhough it was only a one hour drive. We thought it would be nice to make it a girls weekend, so a hotel it was.

The last two weeks went by so slow. I talked to Lando a few times on messanger but I was so nervous to see him again. I was packing and facetiming my sister in the mean time to catch up.

"Soo what are you gonna wear? What are you bringing? Did you shave? Because you never know..."

"Oh my god, Emily. What do you think is going to happen? We are just friends!" I took a look at my closet figuring out what to bring since the weather was warm but it's the UK so you never know. The weather could take a big turn and I would need some warmer clothes.

"Just friends? Yeah right. Just friends don't invite eachother to a Grand Prix. With VIP tickets I must add." She smirked at me.

"I don't know.. But even if you are right, I would not have sex with him. I just met him a few weeks ago."

"And because you havn't done anything since.. You know. Douchebag Brian."

I looked at her, unamused. I didn't want to talk about him anymore. He ruined me and even after such a long time, I couldn't trust any guy anymore.

"Anyway" I turned around to my closet. "What do I bring?"

"Just pack a few outfits and some sweaters that match with it."

I started packing some outfits, my toiletbag with all the essentials and some oversized shirts to sleep in. We would be leaving tomorrow thursday morning and we would be staying untill monday morning.

"Done, all packed. Now what?" I picked up my phone from the table and walked to the kitchen to grab some water from the fridge.

"Now you just relax. Take a bath, shave those legs." Emily said with a wink.

I scowled at her. I looked at my legs. They did need a bit of shaving.

"Alright I'm gonna take a bath. That actually sounds like a great idea. Will talk to you later Em. Love you." I blew her a kiss and hung up.

I put on the bath and undressed. I walked to the bathroomcloset and chose a nice smelling bathbomb to put in the bath. I chose one from Lush with a blueberry smell.

Once in the bath I scrubbed my entire body and shaved everything that needed to be shaved. I stayed in the bath fot a little longer before stepping out and drying off. It was now 10 pm so I decided to head to bed. I watched some netflix before drifting off to sleep.

I woke up from the light that shined through my window. I looked at my phone and saw it was a little past 8 am. I got up and got dressed. It would be a quite warm day today so I decided to wear a lightblue sundress with a v'neck. It had long baloonsleeves but it was a light fabric so I wouldn't be too hot. I paired it with some sandels. I decided to lightly curl my long hair and put the top half up with a blue hairclip. I put on some light mascara and some lipgloss before heading towards the kitchen to make breakfast.

My suitcase was already by the door all ready to go. I put all my stuff in my purse and opened the fridge to grab some eggs. I decided to make some avocadotoast with eggs to start te day.

After I finished breakfast I quickly cleaned up. It was now 9 am. Mia would pick me up around 9 so I wanted to make sure I was ready. First practise would start around 1:30 pm so Lando wanted to show us around before that.
