Game Time Pt.8

I decide not to speak to Chris to make anything else uncomfortable, i walk right past him and decide to grab an iced coffee to share with john. "hi, what can i get for you"says the girl behind the counter. "just a medium iced coffee with cinnamon and vanilla please" i say. "okay perfect, that will be 3.25 cash or card?" she says tapping the screen. "card" i say handing her my credit card but before i do so, Chris comes from behind me putting his left hand on my lower back and taking my card card with his right hand and paying with his card.  The girl takes his card and pays, "ill have that right out for you" she says "thank you" i say frozen where he touched me. He pulls me lightly towards him so the next people in line could order. We move to the wall behind and I turn to him, "what was all of that" i asked with a surprised look. "i felt bad for what happened with Lex, and it seemed like you were upset about it. You came out of the bathroom and completely ignored me so i just thought i might as well do something to make it up" he says leaning on the wall with his right shoulder looking at my eyes. oh, he noticed.

"I wasn't upset, just uncomfortable, and you didn't have to make anything up to me, we barely met. and i ignored you to not make things uncomfortable, and plus Lex was being rude so i didn't want to take anything out on you" i say looking away. "Lex? what did she say?" he asked with different tone, angry, and concerned. "she just went into the bathroom and looked me up and down and said that im not pretty enough and that i should try anything with you, its fine, dont worry about it" i say looking back into his eyes again. They were concerned but mad. just like his tone. His jaw looked even more sharp then before, his face muscles were a lot more tense now. "don't ever let Lex, say anything to you, if she does you come straight to me, do you hear me?" he said looking at me seriously now. I thought he was hot before this, but now he is like hotter than Jaso- never mind.  "okay" i say quietly looking down, Chris lifts my chin up with his his index finger and i just look at him about to kiss him. No hey y/n calm down. "im sorry about her, she does this a lot, me and her aren't a thing, we have never been, i helped her during our middle school years and now she is stuck to me" he says letting go on my chin. 

"one medium iced coffee" says the girl from before. "ill go get that" i say and go get it. The guys finally come out as i grab the coffee. I was going to share the coffee with John but since Chris payed for it, i'll share it with him. All the guys walk out of the little cafe and we head to the car and put all the bags in the back. We go back to our seats, this time Jayden wanted to play his music, we let him since he was driving. I sat in the middle of Jason and Chris once again. We are all now wearing regular clothes and no more suits, sadly. I try the iced coffee and can't help but think of what Chris said to me. I hand him the drink and he accepts it and drinks some. I put it down and go on my phone. Finally checking my social media. I have 60+ dms, 375 snaps, and 45 messages. Okay you might be thinking how does she have so many snaps, the thing is that i dont open a lot of them and some have been there since last month or so. I go into my Instagram and see the stories people have posted for my birthday and i repost them on my story. I see a notification pop up from BCCM8. Chris posted a story to his Instagram, he posted a picture he had taken of me with the a little note saying, "happy birthday to this random girl that broke into my house" 

"haha Chris" i say to him, he just laughs with his dimples showing. wow, those are the most amazing things i have ever seen. Hey, focus. I notice we are going a little away from the city but not very far. I continue to reply to messages and showing Jason some memes i find that remind me of him. Talking to Alex and JJ in the back. And jayden and John talking about their sports in the front. I get sleepy again but this time instead of Putting my head on Chris shoulder, he put his arm around my shoulders and told me to just lay down. I was shocked at first but after all, i was sleepy and didn't really care at this point. I laid down on his chest and he put his air pod into my ear and we listened to his favorite song. I fell asleep fast, and so did he. 

Jayden pov//

While driving i noticed that i couldn't see y/n nor hear her. "hey what's y/n doing" i asked trying to look at her through the mirror. "she fell asleep with Chris again" say Jason. "k, make sure she doesnt hurt her neck" i say turning the music up a bit. Jason likes her, but does Chris? And if he does, is he thinking of doing anything? I don't mid her dating anyone of my friends, the guys are cool, im just worried that shes going to get trapped in between two of them. Chris is a good guy, no one knows but one day, I nearly did something that to this day I regret it. But Chris came over because he had a feeling something was going on, and because of him im sitting in this drivers seat. Jason has been my friend since forever and i know him, he would make a really grate boyfriend if he ever let anyone other than y/n love him. 

*time skip* 

Y/n pov//

I hear Jason Maraz in one of my ears and i open my eyes to see a very beautiful peaceful Chris sleeping. His face looks so perfect, this time i touched it. I caressed his cheek very softly, and yep, he was real. He felt me touch him and put his hand over mine, eyes still closed, with a light smile and kept it there, we both didn't notice what we were doing, we just kinda did it because it was instinct. He opens his eyes and sees me, Im fully awake now and see his pretty eyes. Both our eyes go wide and we let go super quickly and just start to laugh. Time with Chris was the best, I have only known him so little but i feel like i have known him for years. I get up and see Jason dead asleep, not moving, just asleep. I ruffle his hair a bit not too much to wake him up, he looks almost innocent when he sleeps. I sit back down and notice that where we are. Finally I understand why they told me to wear clothes i could move in, we were at the cities fair....

Sorry i dont update as much anymore, school finishes in less than 2 weeks and im not home very much anymore, ill try to keep this active tho
