My Brothers New Friend

I wake up. That's it, just wake up. Then I feel the warmth and weight on my chest. Everything that happened last night is coming back. I look down to see Chris, slightly looking down at his phone. "Hi" I say scratching his scalp softly. "Good morning y/n" he says his accent a lot more thicker than usual. "I'm hungry" i say grabbing my phone to check the time. 10:43AM. "I can't go warm up the food my mom made" he says lifting himself off of me slightly, adjusting himself so that his arms are on both sides of my thighs. "I'll come with you" I say sitting up.

We both head downstairs to thw kitchen. The guys are all there, fully awake. "Good morning" I say walking to the kitchen. "Morning" says Chris following me. "Morning for sure" says JJ laughing. "When did you get here?" Asked jayden. "Last night" says Chris. "Hm" says Jayden. "How come you're all still here, I thought you would have left already" I ask grabbing the food and heating it up. "Can't" says Alex. "The snow" he motions to the window. I walk over and see the huge piles of snow everywhere. "How badly did it snow last night?" I asked. "News says about 6 inches" says John. "Wait Chris are your siblings home alone?" I asked. "My parents are supposed to be there right now, I'll call them to make sure they're there" he says excusing himself to my room. I continued to heat up our food.

10 minutes later

Chris comes down the stairs. "My mom said they were coming back home, but since it started snowing they're flight go delayed. And hannah just called me and told me the light went out" he says putting his jacket on. "Woah woah, where do you think you're going" asked John getting up from the couch. "It's my fault I left, i was going to be back in the morning because i don't want them to be home alone while I'm out somewhere. I have to go with them and stay over there" he says. "Well it's not snowing anymore but you and your siblings can't stay over there if the power went out" says Jayden getting up with John. "Well i can't just leave them" says Chris putting on his shoes. "Then we'll go get them and bring them to the house" says Jayden. "What?" I say. "Well they're kids and they can't stay in a house with no light nor heat, we're all here so lets just bring them here" says Jayden. "Yeah i caught on to that but how in the world are you gonna get there in 6 inches of snow?" I ask. "The truck?" Asked JJ.

Jaydens pov

Me, John and Chris get into my truck. "I am so sorry you have to do this" says Chris in the back seat. I stay silent for a bit trying to think of what to say. "Its fine, don't take this the wrong way but why were you at the house last night?" Said John answering for me. "I was texting y/n and she couldn't sleep and me and my sister mad too many pot stickers so i brought some over" he says. "Oh" I say not knowing exactly what to say. "You know i don't mind you dating my sister" i say out of no where. "That's nice to know" says Chris. "Hey hannah get a backpack ready I'm going to pick you and lucas up" says Chris on the phone. I hear a voice mumbled and then he hangs up. The streets are empty, no one in sight.

We get to Chris's house and he unbuckels his seat belt. "Hey give me 5 minutes while I get my siblings and a few other things" he says getting off. "So what's up" asks John. "What do you mean" I say taking my phone out to pass the time. "I don't know you just seem so off" he says. "I'm not sure either. Seriously I'm okay with him dating y/n I just didn't expect them to move so fast" I say. "I understand, they're ment to be, really" he says. "Mhm" I say handing him a piece of gum.

Five minutes go by and Chris come out with a teenage girl, and a boy a few years younger than the girl, his siblings. They all look alike. "Hey sorry I brought a few more bags, hopefully they don't bother anyone" says Chris opening the door and putting the bags and backpacks in the truck. "That's fine" I say. The girl gets in and sits in the middle and the boy sitting on the other seat. "Uhm Jayden, John, my sister Hannah and brother Lucas" he says. "Hi, thank you for letting us stay at your place" says Hannah. "Yeah of course no problem" I say smiling at her through the rear view mirror. "Hi, Lucas" says the boy. "What's up dude" says John making Lucas feel more comfortable. "Nothing much, thanks for coming all the way here to pick us up" he says. "Gum?" I say giving them 3 pieces. "Yeah thank you" says Chris. Then we head back home.

Y/n pov

The guys just left so I went to get the guest bedroom ready and make breakfast. "Anything I can do to help" asked JJ. "You can help me with breakfast while I go get the guest room ready" I say walking to the room. Alex was already cleaning the living room from the mess we all made last night. "HEY Y/N DO BREAKFAST SANDWICHES SOUND GOOD?" yelled JJ from the kitchen. "YEAH SOUNDS GOOD" I yell back. A little over 10 minutes go by and i finish everything and head to the kitchen. Alex and JJ already have everything going and they only have to cook the ham and assemble the sandwiches. "Dang sorry guys" i say going to wash my hands. "It's fine, just help us assemble the sandwiches" says Alex. "Have any of the guys texted you" I ask JJ. "Uh let me check" he says. "Oh yeah, they're coming back" he says. "Okay, that'd good" I say. "Who are his siblings" asked Alex. "He has a sister named Hannah and a brother named Lucas" I say. "Ah" he says. We finish making the sandwiches and we put them in the oven to keep them warm. "Hannah is 17 and Lucas is 15 so try to get along with them Alex" I say to him sitting down on at the table.

Finally i hear a car. I look the window and its Jayden. I get up and open the door. Lucas and Hannah get out with their backpacks and Chris gets out with some bags. I open the door and wait for hannah to get to the door and i give her the biggest hug ever. Lucas comes behind her and I give him a big hug too. The guys come in and i hug them too. "Hannah you can bring your bag over here, you too Lucas" I say taking them to the guest room.
"Are you guys hungry" I ask them. "A little yeah" says Lucas. They head out of the room towards the kitchen. Alex is already getting the plates ready. Hannah walks out and walks but I notice a slight stop as she walked into the kitchen. I don't know why but I help Alex and Lucas and Hannah go sit at the table. "Do you guys want any fruit?" I ask them. "I'll have whatever Chris is having" says Lucas. "I already have a plate ready if you want this" says Alex to Hannah. "Yeah I'll take it" she says getting up and grabbing the plate from Alex's hands.

We're all finally sitting at the table with our breakfast. "How long is it going to be till people can leave their house?" I ask. "It's supposed to snow a lot for the next 3 days" says Chris. "So are we all spending Christmas here?" Asked JJ. "If it's snowing badly then yes, you'll all stay here till its okay to get you guys home" says Jayden. "That's fine, I've always wanted to have Christmas with more people" I say. "What do you mean we always have parties to go to for Christmas" says Jayden. "Well yeah but its not like close friends, its mostly mom and dad's friends" I say. "True, looks like this Christmas is gonna be interesting" says Alex. "Lucas how old are you" asks Jayden. "I'm 15, a freshman in high school right now" he says. "You?" He asks motioning to Hannah. "17, a senior" she says with a little smile. "Alex aren't you a freshman in college?" Chris asks. "Yeah right, I graduated last year" he says with an awkward laugh. "Do you guys do any sports?" Asked John. "I play soccer but Hannah is more of a musician" says Lucas. "Whag type of music?" I ask. "It's a type of music called K-Pop. It stands for Korean Pop" she says pulling out her phone to show me. "Ohh, the ones you sent me" I say. "Mhm, I listen to a lot of TXT" She says putting her phone away. "I'll for sure listen to more of it later" I tell her with a smile. The rest of breakfast goes smoothly and small talk here and there. In the end both Lucas and Hannah got a lot more comfortable with us.
