Chapter 25

*HALEY'S POV.*

"Smile." Ross faced his phone toward me. "Noooo." I tried to cover his camera up but it was too late. He snapped a picture of my hand half covering my face and halfway between the camera and my head. 'Lunch date with her.😏💘' He posted it to his social media. "You are such a dork." I kissed his cheek and we got up to throw our garbage away. "Grizzly River Run?" "Yep." We walked hand in hand to the soup and salad shop and met Ellie and Rocky. "Let's go guys!" The four of us skipped through the crowd like 4 year olds. My family was walking directly towards us, coming from the other way. "Hey guys, what did you eat?" "Corn dogs and hamburgers." "I had pasta, Ross had pizza, and Ellie and Rocky had soup and salad." "Not gonna lie that was some pretty tasty salad." Rocky rubbed his stomach. "Goofball." I slapped his arm and bolted to the ride. Rocky was hot on my tail as I ran around the rails and the others were slowly walking behind us. I turned the corner and stopped to catch my breath, surely he won't catch me. I turned to run again but someone pulled me back. I tried to scream but there was a hand covering my mouth. I bit the persons' fingers and they let me go. I turned around with my hand out ready to slap them. "Ouch!" I sighed in relief. "Rocky! Don't do that. I thought you were a kidnapper." I slapped the side of his arm. "Sorry." "It's okay. You scared me. Sorry I bit your hand." "It's okay. It's not like I've never been bitten before." He eyed his little brother who walked up next to me. "I was 5, let it go!" "Let it go, let it go!" We all broke out into song then busted up laughing. "Alright, let's go!" Austin pulled me down the line and everybody followed. I stepped into the platform and almost fell over. "Woah, I forgot this turns." Ross held his hand out for me for balance. We of us stepped inside the raft and strapped ourselves in. "Wow we all fit." Me and Ross were in one seat, Rocky and Ellie were next to us, then my parents, then my siblings. "Please keep your hands and feet inside the raft at all times and have a nice ride." We turned the corner and the raft spun in circles. "Uh oh!" "What 'oh?'" "Look!" Janie pointed to the small drop that was ahead of us. "I don't remember this." Ross shrieked as the raft hit the top of the water.

"Dude, chill!" Rocky patted his head right before it happened. One second I was laughing, the next I was drenched from head to toe. I looked over at Ross who was also completely soaked. With our mouths hanging wide open my mom took a picture. "Mom!" "What? That was cute." "Will you send it to me?" "Yeah--wait, did your phone get wet?" "No me and Ross put them in like 4 different ziplocks." "That was smart." I nodded as we spun around a few more corners before the ride came to a stop. Ross helped me out of the raft. "How come me and you were the only ones that got wet?" I shrugged and ruffled his wet hair. "Is your hair going to turn green?" "I sure hope not."

"Thank you guys for inviting us." "No problem, Ross." "Bye mom, dad, Austin, and Janie." I gave my family a good night hug. "Let me know when you guys want to go to the beach, Ross knows this awesome spot we could go to." "Sounds like a plan. We will call you sometime tomorrow or the next day." "Bye guys." We waved goodbye to each other and we walked over to my car to find Rocky and Ellie laying together in my backseat, sleeping. Ross chuckled then yawned. "You tired baby?" He nodded and rubbed his eyes. "I'll drive." "Are you sure?" "Yeah." He handed me my keys and I started the car. I pulled out of the parking lot and before I was on the freeway Ross was zoned out snoring very softly. I turned on my music loud enough I could hear it but quiet enough so it didn't wake up the sleepy heads. I shuffled my playlist and the first song that came on was I Want U Bad. I grinned like an idiot as I softly sang along and paid close attention to the road.

As I neared the exit I put my blinker on and got in the furthest lane. As I was about to turn some dummy swerved in front of me and I slammed on my brakes. The car jolted forward as I honked the horn. "Idiot!" Nothing happened so I continued to drive. "What was that?" Sleepy Rocky asked. "Some retard swerved in front of me. Everything's okay, we are almost back to my house." He nodded and fell back asleep. Minutes later I pulled into the apartment complex parking lot. "Guys, wake up." I shook them softly and the all groaned. "We are home." They sat up and looked around. "Come on. You guys can sleep inside." I help Ellie and Rocky out of me car and sent them up with the key. Ross had somehow fallen back asleep. I shut my door and walked around the the passenger side. I opened the door carefully so he would not fall and nudged his side. "Ross...baby?" He mumbled a few words that I couldn't make out. I put my keys in my shirt and unbuckled my pass out boyfriend. I tried my best to drag him out of his seat. He was half awake so I had him lean on me as I shut the door, locked the car, and helped him up the stairs. I dragged him up a few more flights of stairs and knocked on the door. They have better not fell asleep, I knocked again. Ross was leaning against me snoring again as I pulled my phone out and called Ellie. "What?" I could barely hear her. "You locked me out." "Oh, oops. Rocky go let them in please. Thank you. Hold on." She hung up the phone and Rocky opened the front door. "You okay?" He asked, gesturing to the sleeping, human rock on my shoulder. I pulled him in the door and laid him on my couch. "He is a heavy kid." I panted and Rocky shut the door. "It's all muscle." Rocky rolled his eyes. "Are you jealous of his body?" I smirked. "Maybe.." I ruffled his hair. "Anyway, good job getting him up here. We are going to sleep, see you in the morning." "Good night Rock." He kissed the top of my head and walked into Ellie's room. I took off Ross' shirt, pulled out his phone to charge, and tucked him into the blankets that were on the couch. "Good night baby." I kissed his forehead and walked into my room. Right as my head hit my pillow, I was out.
