Chapter 23

*HALEY'S POV.*

I woke up to my alarm buzzing softly in my ear. 8 o' clock. I turned off my alarm and lifted my head off Ross' chest. "Baby..." He moaned. I giggled and kissed his cheek. "Come on, we are going to California Adventure today with my family." "Oh yeah." He sat up and stretched. "Good morning beautiful." He kissed my forehead. "Good morning handsome. You can go shower and I'll pick out your clothes. Okay?" "M'kay." Ross rubbed his eyes and flopped out of bed then made his way to my bathroom. I walked over to my closet and picked out mine and Ross' clothes. I will wear my black leggings tucked in to my nike socks with my anchor tank top and my flannel around my waist and my converse. Ross will wear skinny jeans with his black tank top that has holes in the top.

By the time I was done getting dressed and doing my hair Ross was finally done with his shower. "Sorry I took so long, the water was so warm." "It's okay baby. I'm glad you relaxed." "Mm." Ross grinned. "Here, wear these." I gave Ross his clothes and he picked out his underwear and socks. He changed in my room while I went to go see if Ellie and Rocky were up yet. I carefully opened the door to see them cuddled up to each other. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of them for Instagram. 'otp😍 they are adorable💚💥' I posted the picture and people immediately started liking my pictures. Mostly R5 fans, but I also noticed some likes from my friends back home. I miss them. I didn't notice I was crying until Ross came up behind me, "What's wrong baby girl?" "I miss my friends back home." I wiped my single tear and curled up to Ross' chest. He rubbed my back. "How about we go out there for your fall break?" "Really?" "Of course babe." "I love you." "I love you, too." "Let's wake them up, yeah?" "Kay." We walked over to the bed and started jumping on them. "Get up! Get up!" "Mmmm." Ellie swatted lazily at the air. "Guys, come on wake up. We are going to California Adventure remember?" "Oh yeah." The two of them sat up and rubbed their eyes. They grabbed their phones and I darted out the door. I was two seconds too late. "HALEY!" Shoot. I walked back in. "I'm sorry, how could I not? You two were sleeping so cute!" Rocky kissed Ellie's head. "Yeah we are pretty cute huh?" She blushed, "You two! Anyway, hurry and get ready we will go to Starbucks on the way. I think my family will meet us there." Ross and I walked out of Ellie's room and we got everything we would need. Ross likes to use my E.O.S. so I'll bring my mint one for us. We both had our wallets and our aviators on our heads. Ellie and Rocky were fast to get dressed so we were all getting our shoes on within the next few minutes. "Should we take my car?" I asked. "Yeah, I took the car home yesterday and then Riker dropped me off last night." "Kay. You guys ready?" "I grabbed my keys. "Yep."

Ross was driving with me in the passenger seat and Rocky and Ellie in the back. "How come your family is staying in L.A.? It's an hour away from Disneyland." Ross talked but kept his eyes on the road. "Well they are going to Universal Studios, too. They probably just wanted to be closer to me." "Ahh." "I'm glad they surprised me. I missed them." "When was the last time you saw them?" "Last Christmas." "Oh wow." "Yeah. But it's okay because I have some of my best friends here with me." I leaned over, kissed Ross' cheek, and looked back to see Rocky and Ellie cuddled up to each other. We pulled up to Starbucks and went through the drive-thru. I leaned over Ross. "Can I get three vanilla bean frappes with two pumps of raspberry syrup and a..." I pulled my head back in. "Rocky what do you want?" "A DoubleShot Vanilla Energy Drink." I stuck my head back out the window, "and a DoubleShot Vanilla Energy Drink?" "How do you want your frappes?" "Venti, please." "That'll be $28.65." "Thank you." I pulled my head back in and sat in my seat. "You're crazy." "Crazy, it's true. Hey! Crazy for you." I belted out the line to one of their songs and Rocky and Ellie backed me up with the 'Hey!' Ross laughed. "You're cute." He kissed my cheek and we pulled up to the window. "$28.65 please." I threw my arm out the window, before Ross, and handed the lady $30, "Keep the change." The smiled and handed me the four drinks. "Haley!" Everyone whined as I handed them their drinks. "My treat." I stuck my tongue out at them. "Thanks babe." Ross kissed me sweetly on the lips. "Thanks Hay!" Rocky and Ellie said in unison. "No problem." For the next 45 minutes we played silly little games; eye spy, the abc game, etc, all the way to Anaheim.

"My mom said they will meet us at cars land." The four of us walked through the gates and made our way to the ride. Rocky and Ellie held hands as did Ross and I. It took us 15 minutes to get to the cars ride, there are a lot of R5 fans in California Adventure. "My hand hurts." The four of us said at the same time. We all laughed, "We have been here for less than 20 minutes and I've signed more things than our concert signings." Ross exclaimed. "That is the most Ellie and I have ever signed." "No kidding." "Haley!" I turned my head and saw my family waving us over. "Hey guys." "Hi." "Let's go." Ross tugged on my arm. "I swear, you are an adult trapped inside a little kid's body." Ross shrugged and the 8 of us made our way to the end of the line. "Haley?" I turned in the direction that the familiar voice came from and recognized who said my name. "Amaya, hey!" I gave her a hug. "Funny seeing you here." "You too." Ross coughed. "Oh. Amaya, this is Rocky, Ellie, and Ross, you probably already knew that, and this is my mom, my dad, and my little brother and sister." "Hi." Everyone waved. "How do you know her?" Ellie asked. "I met her at the store last night when I went to get the spaghetti sauce. She works there and she's a fan of the band." "Fan huh?" Rocky and Ross trapped her in a triple hug between them. Amaya blushed. "Stop embarrassing her," I pulled the boys away. "Although you probably enjoyed it huh?" I whispered the last part and she nodded and laughed. The rest of the way through the line we all kept small conversations going until it was Amaya's group's turn to go. "It was good seeing you." I hugged her one last time. "You too. Nice meeting you all." She hoped in the car and the ride started. Ross wrapped his arms around my stomach from behind. "Hey." He kissed my head. I grinned. "Are you excited?" "Of course!" Ross jumped up and down again. "Okay okay. Come on." We sat in the car; Ross, me, and my brother in front, Rocky, Ellie, and my sister behind us, and my parents went in the car behind us. The ride started and Ross was clapping his hands and he looked like a little kid about to get a toy. I videoed Ross the whole way. We both knew when the picture was gonna be taken so Ross kissed my cheek and the flash went off. After the ride I stopped recording and locked my phone. We all met up at the end and looked at the pictures. "Aww." Austin teased. I stuck my tongue out at him. "Let's go loose our souls in the Hollywood Tower Hotel!" I said in a spooky voice and we all made our way to my favorite ride.
