Chapter 17

*ROSS'S POV.*

Everyone ordered water, except Haley's little brother and sister who got RootBeer and Sprite. "So Ross, we hear your into planes?" Haley's dad sipped his water. "Yea--" Rocky cut me off. "He is obsessed with planes." I chuckled. "Yeah, they are really fascinating. If I wasn't in a band, I would've wanted to be a navy pilot or something like that." Haley's dad, Ryan, nodded.

*HALEY'S POV.*

I think my stomach is starting to eat itself. Finally our food arrived and I could not be happier. I immediately began eating. I ordered Alfredo with a Caesar salad on the side; my favorite. I finished all my food in 10 minutes, everyone stared at me like I was crazy. "Pig!" Austin had barely touched his food, he's always been picky. "What? I was hungry." I wiped my mouth and took out a mint from my pocket and plopped it in my mouth.

"Thanks for dinner, dad." "Thank you so much Mr. Moore." "You can call me Ryan." Ellie laughed, "Thanks Ryan." "You're welcome guys." "Where are you guys going tomorrow?" I asked. "Disneyland tomorrow and California Adventure the next day." "Maybe we'll join you for California Adventure." "Sure, give us a call if you know your plans." "Okay, bye guys." We got in our cars and headed our separate ways. "Movie night!" Rocky yelled once we opened the door to the apartment. "Scary movie!" Me and Ellie yelled after him. "Carrie!" Rocky yelled again. We all started laughing at how obnoxious we were being. We all changed into comfier clothes and cuddled together on the couch. I turned on my Netflix and put Carrie on. Before the movie had even started Ross shivered. "Shouldn't it be the other way?" "Huh?" "Shouldn't I be the one scared?" Ross shrugged and I snuggled into his side.

I heard the credits rolling, How did I fall asleep watching that? Ross just sat there wide eyed. "I'm not gonna be able to sleep." "Wanna stay here one more night?" "Yeah." I turned of the tv and stood up. Rocky carefully picked up sleeping Ellie, told us good night, and went to bed. "Come on baby." I held out my hand for Ross. He carefully took if and clung tight to me. "Baby, don't be scared it's a movie." "I know but it's scary." We walked into the kitchen and got a drink. I snaked my arm around Ross' waist and we went to get ready for bed.

Ross checked to make sure all the windows and doors were shut and locked. He finally climbed in bed, "Baby, we are completely safe I promise." He nodded. I turned on my tv and we watched Disney for a little while. Ross held my hand very tight, not that I mind, cause I don't. I went on my phone and checked my social media. By the time I got through all my feed on Instagram and Twitter the episode Ross was watching was over. I shut off the tv and laid my head on his chest. "We are fine I promise." He nodded and kissed the top of my head, "Good night baby girl." "Good night." I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
