*HALEY'S POV.*

Wednesday evening

"You have the address right?" I asked him. "Yes. I put it into Google Maps already." "Perfect! See you around 6!" "Good bye, my love." Ross kissed my cheek as Ellie and I walked out of the door. It is currently 2 o' clock, four hours till the grand reopening of the restaurant that Ellie and I work at. Our boss wanted us their at 2:30 to help clean the place, prepare food, and decorate. We decided to leave a little early, in the same car, and get a drink on the way there. As usual, I choose ChickFilA and Ellie agreed. "Hi two large frosted lemonades please." "Anything else?" "No thank you." "Your total will be $7.04 at the next window." "Thank you." "My pleasure." I giggled as I pulled up to the next window. "Every time." Ellie playfully shook her head. "Hi $7.04 please." I handed her a 5 dollar bill, two 1s, and four pennies. She took the money to the cash register, then came back and handed me the receipt and the frosted lemonades. "Have a good day." "Thank you." "My pleasure." Ellie laughed with me this time. I gave her her drink and drove back to the main road.

We were there within ten minutes, and we were about ten minutes early. I parked the car and we walked up to the front doors. "Wow. It looks good." I said. They changed the exterior of the building, as well as the interior, and it looks amazing. We walked in and made our way to the back. "Haley! Ellie! Long time no see!" Our boss, Nick, came up to us and we exchanged hugs. "Nicky!" I exclaimed. He is not much older than me and the three of us are pretty tight! He runs this place with his dad. "Dude this place looks awesome!" "I know right?" I nodded and looked around admiring the improved and upgraded restaurant. "So how have you guys been? I haven't seen you in a while." "Oh we are great!" I told him. "Remember our friends the Lynches?" "He nodded. I looked at Ellie and then back to Nick. "We are dating two of the boys." I grinned as the words slipped out of my mouth. He smiled. "Let me guess, Rocky" he pointed to Ellie. "and Ross." He pointed to me. Our heads bobbed up and down. "Are they coming tonight?" "Yeah! We kinda forgot to tell them that we had jobs here. This will be their first time here." "Sweet! I can't wait to meet them! Alright we have Linda, Maggie, Molly, Susie, Dutch, John, Charles, and Robert in the kitchen on food prep. Isaiah, Conner, Julia, and Wendy are in the back room wrapping silverware and cleaning the menus. Joe, Bob, and Gary have been cleaning the bathrooms. My dad is in his office doing taxes, counting money, and reciting his speech in the mirror for tonight. The three of us can sanitize tables, chairs, and doors and whenever Tanner gets here he can help us." "Sounds good!" He walked away for a little bit and came back with a trash can and sanitizing wipes. He turned on some music and the three of us danced around while cleaning the tables and chairs. About fifteen minutes later, the bell on the front door dinged. "H-Fam!" I turned around at the sound of my ridiculous nickname given to me by the one and only "T-Swizzle!" I ran over to Tanner and he picked me up to give me a hug. "I missed you kiddo!" "I missed you too!" "How is Rachel?" "Good, we are good. We are actually great." "That's good!" "What about you, does any special boy have you heart?" I smiled and nodded. "Ross Lynch." "Ahh yes! I was rooting for you two!" I grinned. "Tanner my man!" Nick came over to us and they did their bro-hug handshake thing. "What is up?" "Living life, bro!" The three of us walked over to the tables and chairs. "Hey Ellie!" Tanner gave her a hug too. Now that Tanner was here, the Fabulous-Four was complete. Before the restaurant closed down for renovation, the four of us were extra tight, in and out of work. I was so happy to be back with my buddies, they made work bearable. After we finished sanitizing, Isaiah, Conner, Julia, and Wendy brought the silverware and menus out. The eight of us laid the wrapped silverware on the tables and put the menus in the baskets. The eight of us were going to start out as servers. Three others were waiting on call in case we needed back up.

Once everyone was done with their part of the reopening preparation, we all met in the backroom, which was somehow big enough. "Alright everyone," Papa, we call Nick's dad Papa, began. "I am pleased to announce that there are T minus eight minutes until we cut the ribbon for our grand reopening and there are dozens of people waiting outside those doors." Everyone cheered. "Do we all know our jobs?" We all nodded. "Great! We will be closing at 10 but after tonight we will return to the regular 8:30 closing time. You may each take a twenty minute break anytime throughout the night just make sure to clock in and out of your shifts. Questions?" Nothing. "Perfect. T minus four and a half minutes left. I will go to my office to get my official scissors and speech note cards. Meet me by the doors in three minutes."
