Tsuna POV
I woke up and immediately noticed the warmth that was beside me. I looked next to me and saw Hayato. I smiled softly and sat up. I stretched my arms and yawned loudly. I lifted the blanket and tried to get up. Keyword: tried.
My feet got tangled in the blanket and I slipped, falling face flat on the floor. Almost immediately, Hayato was next to me, fussing and checking for injuries. "Don't worry Hayato, I'm fine," I said. "And how did you get up so fast?" I asked. He rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed.
"I'm a light sleeper, Jyuudaime. It comes in handy sometimes," he said. I nodded in understanding. "Well, since we're up, how about we go wash and get ready?" I suggested. Hayato nodded vigorously and practically jumped off the bed. I sweatdropped (like I've been doing since I met Hayato).
After washing and getting ready, we went down to the dining room for breakfast. "Ah, good morning Tsu-kun, Hayato-kun! Did you sleep well last night?" Dad asked. I nodded, and Hayato exclaimed, "That was the best sleep I've ever had!" Dad smiled.
"That's great! Now, why don't you eat breakfast and get ready for school?" "Okay!" Hayato and I exclaimed. Breakfast was kinda like a buffet, so there were dishes set out with all kinds of breakfast foods. I grabbed some toast, scrambled eggs, and cereal and began to eat.
After breakfast, I grabbed my backpack. I looked over at Hayato. "Ready, Hayato?" I asked. "Hai, Jyuudaime!" Hayato replied enthusiastically with a nod. "Great! Let's get to the limo," I said.
One limo ride later, me and Hayato were at school. "Come on Hayato, or we'll be late!" I exclaimed, dragging Hayato. "Of course, Jyuudaime!" Hayato replied. I smiled and turned around, just as I crashed into someone. I fell on my back, and the other fell as well.
"Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't see where I was going! Are you okay?" I asked. "Kufufu, I'm fine. Next time, why don't you watch where you're going?" The other, a boy, suggested. I chuckled nervously, sheepishly scratching the back of my neck. "Yeah, I'll do that," I said.
I took a good look at the boy. He had heterochromatic eyes, one red, one blue. His hair was styled like a pineapple, and he was kinda tall. "Hey, what's your name?" I asked curiously. "That's Mukuro Rokudo, Jyuudaime! Other people bully him because he has different eye colors!" Hayato supplied.
"Kufufu~ Hayato Gokudera, you shouldn't give away information like that. It's a big blow on privacy," the boy, Mukuro, said. Just then, the bell rang. "Oh, crap! Come on Hayato, we'll be late!" I said as I stood up and started dragging Hayato to class. I yelled behind my shoulder, "Sorry again, Mukuro!"
~Later . . .~
"Hey, new kid!" A voice shouted. I turned around. "Were you the one who told my dad what I do behind his back?" A boy asked. He had blond hair that was spiky, but flat. He looked like one of those kids that think the world revolves around them. And the way he talked proved it. I remember him from when I was at Namimori. I heard they moved here because of family problems.
"Hi. You're Hatoshi Sawada, right?" I asked, even though I already knew him. "Yeah, that's me. Now answer my question!" Hatoshi nearly yelled. "It wasn't me, it was my dad," I said calmly. Murmurs broke out around us. I heard snippets like, "He's dead" or "Who does he think he is?"
Hatoshi growled. "Because of you're dad, my dad ignores me now. And you're gonna pay for it!" He exclaimed, lunging at me. I calmly dodged the attack and watched as Hatoshi became unbalanced and fell. Hatoshi looked up at me, anger flaring in his eyes, recognition following.
"Hey, I remember you. You're Dame-Tsuna! You used to live in the hospital! What happened? Did the hospital abandon you too?" Hatoshi sneered as he stood up. "No, I was adopted," I said calmly. Hayato looked like he was gonna blow up at Hatoshi, but I gave him a quick glare the made him back down.
"Oh really? I bet your adopter is really poor. Probably was barely able to pay for you to come to school!" Hatoshi yelled. "Actually, my dad's rich, and he doesn't keep secrets. What about your parents? Do they keep secrets from you?" I retaliated. "What does that have to do with anything?" Hatoshi growled.
"Why don't you come over to my house, we can have a proper conversation," I said, glancing around. Hatoshi also looked around. "What are you all doing!? Get out of here!" He yelled. The audience all scampered away, not wanting to get beat up by the biggest bully. Hatoshi then turned to me. "There, the audience is taken care of. Now tell me what you're talking about!" Hatoshi snarled.
"Don't talk to Jyuudaime like that, you-" I cut Hayato off. "If I tell you, your life might change, for the better or for the worse I don't know. Knowing this, do you still wanna know?" I asked. Hatoshi stayed silent, probably contemplating whether or not to know the truth. Not that he knows about it. Hatoshi looked up determined. "I wanna know," Hatoshi said.
"Alright. Ready?" I asked. "Last chance for you to turn back," Hayato muttered. But Hatoshi didn't hear Hayato's statement, and nodded. "Alright. Let's start from the beginning. Your mother, Sawada Nana, gave birth to twins. And not interruptions. I'm telling the truth," I said when Hatoshi was about to interrupt. Hatoshi stayed quiet.
"That day, your father, Sawada Iemitsu, made the decision to abandon the eldest twin because he though the older baby would humiliate the Sawada family with his weakness. So the new parents signed the papers to abandon the eldest twin," I continued. "What happened to the eldest twin? What happened to my older brother?" Hatoshi demanded. I smirked.
"He's standing in front of you."
I feel like this is shorter than usual. Not to mention the fact that I'm kinda rushing the whole story. (^^)' Oh well.
I hope you enjoy this chapter. I posted this in my newest book, a crossover (which you should probably check out. It's called A Phantom in the Gods' World) but I wanna post it here too. Just to make sure everyone knows.
At the end of every chapter (or A/N should there be any) I put down the name Serafina. I'll have you know that Serafina isn't my name, but my OC's name. If you want, you can try guessing my name. If it helps, I'm a girl.
Vote and Comment pls! Thx! 😀😆
