doyoung ft. asahi and yedam - action, robber x police

"stop in your tracks, bags down and put those hands above your head." doyoung swifts a quick glance behind him to see two figures with the same dark blue uniform. he fastens his pace as the road turns a sharp right uphill, hoping he loses the policemen which are chasing after him because he is caught robbing from a local convenience store. "kim dobby over here!" 

the sudden familiarity of the shout grabs the mentioned name's attention. he starts to follow the repetitive calls before he runs along the metal border of the cliff to the sight of asahi, literally doyoung's partner in crime. "sahi hyung!" he shouts back, standing on his tippy toes to see the darken view below him. 

"use your rope to get down kim!" the guy at the bottom of the hill suggests, but slight panic is the only expression he can see in doyoung's eyes. the latter is in dilemma, scared and annoyed of the possibility that both might get into a hassling trouble. so, the quick solution doyoung calculates within the short given time is throwing the bags for asahi to catch while desperately screaming: "sahi hyung, run!" to which he receives a furrowing eyebrows from the older.

"doyoung ssi, don't be an idiot!" asahi response with hoarse voice about to crack, he looks at him as if he's insane. they can't let go of each other yet. he can't be safe when doyoung isn't guaranteed that he will be. "no hyung, go shelter yourself!" the more he repeats the words, the faster and strong the stream of tears roll over asahi's cheeks. "I can't leave you alone, you punk!" the sound of siren gradually gets louder as it gets closer to where doyoung stands. but instead of running again, the red haired has accepts his fate. 

"I promise I'll come out alive," there it is again, the wide smile that is meaning to assure him that things are fine. but seeing where they currently are, it's no doubt that doyoung flashes him a farewell smile in advance. asahi sees the little fog coming out of his exhale breath before he opens his mouth. "so with that being said, go run away from this place as fast as you can!" 

asahi is in disbelief of the words that are coming out of doyoung's mouth. asahi knows the young rebel will be fine. they have to trust each other's tactics to avoid the higher authorities. but if anything bad happens to doyoung, he won't be able to forgive himself. "I'll get you boxes of your favourite instant noodles once I'm out of prison for the bargain. how does that sound sahi hyung?" this kid is so unserious when dealing with the edge of life and death. 

asahi shakes his head violently, "I'm not asking much but having you alive is enough for me to keep going, dobby." doyoung just giggles while asahi sees the flickering red light of the police car's siren from the entrance of the road. doyoung leans on the metal border, muttering loud enough for asahi to hear.

"until we meet again, sahi hyung. don't die before I do!" the comment makes him stops in his small starting track. asahi wants to nudge doyoung on the head, he is still the annoying rascal. the comment makes him stops in his small starting track. "I'll wait for you in the afterlife if I did. take care dobby ssi." with that asahi starts running on full speed. doyoung smiles bittersweetly at the figure getting smaller before he disappears within the city buildings. 

then the corner of his mouth lifts up when the sound of a car pulling over reaches his ears. "stay where you stand and put your hands up in the air!" the microphone announces clear and loudly, it almost pierce his hearing. doyoung does as he's told obediently, not caring about the idea of being caught anymore. he might as well enjoy the ride while he is at it. it will be fun.

doyoung sees the same two policemen, that chases him at the beginning, getting out of the car and reaching to hold his sides respectively. they then bangs his front body against the car while they put his hands behind him and another additional colleague brings the handcuffs to a lock. weirdly though, instead of repelling away from doyoung, the new police actually leans his face on the car's window to match his vision. surprise is an understatement to get doyoung's eyes to widely open when he realises what police he's dealing with.

"ah, kim doyoung ssi. I never imagine that we will cross paths again in this situation.." the chuckle is the least he wants to hear, that particular police is the last person he wants to see. doyoung prizes away from the attempt ruffle head and the police finally repels from him, he catches the badges name and much to his gut's liking he is correct. the officer name is none other than 'yedam'. just how lucky does the universe wants doyoung to be, meeting his former lover after years of parting in between. what will yedam do to doyoung  now that he has the opportunity. though knowing the guy, he isn't the type to abuse his power. but still, doyoung learns that the journey might need high quality defence. "what surprise to see you achieving your dreams, hyung." 

"my, thank you for the celebration. I see that you're still stuck with that asahi guy.." yedam's last sentence sounds more of a question than statement.

"you're deeply mistaken because that was sarcasm, but I'll let you enjoy your victory." doyoung rolls his eyes before continuing. "and yes, I am content with the fact I still have a company with me." yedam feels offended momentarily at the shadowing sentence, but he decides to ignore it and move on. he is surprised to see doyoung's face suddenly leaning to his, only a few inches of gap is left in between. "one insulting word towards him, I'll beat you up once I'm out of these handcuffs. don't touch my face you punk–"

"prisoner 127, please remain to stay in your seat or I'll have to zap you." 

"you're no fun with the threats damie hyung." 

"and you have no right to call me with that nickname in here."

"who fucking cares, I was your best friend once."
