Cherry exited the nursery where she slept, it was late at night and she was hungry. Zap laid on her bloodrock, unable to sleep as always and while Cherry ate rat he glanced down at his mother.

The old wolf slowly made her way towards the nursery once again before she came to a abrupt stop, soon coughing up blood. Zap stumbled down the tall rock and ran to assist his mother, "Ma? What's the matter!" He'd plead with no response.

"Whitedeath!" Zap cried out, waiting until the white wolf emerged from her den. "What's going on? What's the matter Zap?" She shook her head slowly approaching the two in the moonlit clearing. "It's Mom, she's coughing up blood!" He cried, "Coughing up blood, why?" She asked stepping closer.

Suddenly Cherry closed her eyes and her body went limp, signalling she had passed. "Is mom okay?" Zap asked, sniffling.  "Cherry is dead, she's been alive for years to come. It is her time to leave." She purposely rejected the word Mother- Cherry was no sort of mother.

"She's your mom to you know, you can't just pretend she's not!" Zap huffed, tears running down his face. Near the corner of camp Cobra watched her sister and brother, accompanied by their dead mother. Why couldn't Zap understand? "She's a pathic excuse for a mother, if you weren't so blind you'd understand that!" She growled.

"Now I have a meeting to call." She turned and leaped upon the bloodrock in a single bound, her muscles flexing. "All wolves old enough to kill their enemies gather under the bloodrock for a pack meeting!" She shouted the familiar meeting call, but this one sounded cloudy.

Zap dragged his mother's body below the bloodrock, where everyone could see from where they sat. He took a seat at the bottom of the rock instead of next to Whitedeath, grieving.  "Today our old alpha, Cherry has passed. She has been a mother to alot of wolves, maybe to some of you. She has been in the pack for years to come and has been here for you guys, and today you shall grieve and visit her body before it is buried." She spoke with no sort of sympathy, she could care less about her dead 'mother'.

She watched as wolves began to grieve for the old wolf, Whitedeath and Cobra locked eyes and nodded. "Panda will bury Cherry." She called and leaped from the bloodrock, Chetrye came padding out of the Alpha's den where the pup stayed.

"Why're they having a meeting over a sleeping wolf?-" He asked quietly to himself, only to realize his grandmother was dead. Not sleeping.. he turned his head to Snagtooth. "Why'd she die?" The pup asked curious, "Because she was old, it was bound to happen soon."

"So does that mean you'll die?" Chertye barked in response. "Probably, everyone dies someday." Panda sighed. Chertye stared up at Panda with big 'old eyes. "Is that why my siblings died?"
(I feel this is why Chetrye acted the way he did, Snagtooth buttered homie up.)

"Exactly. Weak wolves won't survive here, if you want to live a long time like your grandma you'll have to train hard and listen to your mother."  Snagtooth scowled, her tone stern yet soft. "Uhm, Okay," His thoughts completely went off of his grandmother as he got up and started trotting around camp, trying to wake up fully. But Snagtooth called after the pup.

"Chetrye aren't you four months old now?" She asked, he nodded. "Then your bound to be a trainee, I'll tell your mother. Wait in the nursery." She smiled and walked off leaving the pup to return alone. "Whitedeath, Chetrye needs to become a Trainee now. He's four months old." Snagtooth called out, "Oh right, I've been so busy I forgot." Whitedeath replied her tone as cold as regular.
