Thank you so much for all who gave requests. This was a request by a friend for the chapter and it works well for it! However I appreciate all who gave suggestions so much and i might still use them (with giving full credit of course) for other stories. Hope you guys enjoy though. (3

Zeldris watched the little boy run around in the garden with a small smile on his face. It had been a week since the last rewind, and Zeldris was trying to make the most of it. He would play with Meliodas as much as he could, and paid closer attention incase anything seemed off. He wanted to make sure he was available for a conversation rather than letting it build into a fight like the last time.

And although the small feeling of guilt was still there every time the blond smiled brightly with ignorant bliss, Zeldris tried instead to focus on how happy the boy was. That he was able to have moments like that with his bubbly younger brother because of the rewind. That yes the boy was ignorant to events that ate his older brother alive, but it was better than the contempt and anger that had made the ravenette nearly lose his brother twice.

This was a good change.

Taken from the thought by the small child tugging on his arm, he looked down, only to find his own eyes widening as he saw tears in the others.

"Oh Meli, what's wrong? Are you okay?"

Images flooded back into the ravenette's brain of the child breaking down in a similar fashion. Was it happening again? Was history repeating itself? What was upsetting the boy?

"M-Mr bunny died."

"Wha.."

Before he could ask any follow up questions, a tiny brown bunny was held up to him as Meliodas teared up more.

"I.. I tried to save him but he died. Mr bunny is dead!"

He sniffled more as the slight tears turned into a full sob.

Gently leaning down, he took the bunny from the boys hand and set it down next to them.

"Oh Meli, shhh it's okay. I'm sure Mr bunny lived a nice long life. Here, do you want a hug?"

The little demon nodded before hugging Zeldris tight.

"C-Can we bury Mr Bunny? I-I want to get to say goodbye to him Zeldy."

Although quite the ridiculous request, the elder brother in question couldn't bring himself to say no when his younger sibling was looking at him so sadly. The big, sad, innocent, teary eyes were just too much to ignore.

"Alright Meli, we can bury Mr Bunny."

An hour of preparation and forcing all the maids to attend through threats later, the tiny funeral was ready. Complete with a small hole and a shoebox for the stupid rabbit.

Although Meliodas seemed to be completely torn apart by the loss. He had a distraught look on his face, tears in his eyes, and would periodically pet the dead bunny sadly as if saying goodbye to a love one rather than a dumb animal.

Of course, Zeldris never pointed out how ridiculous this was though. He would provide hugs and head pats to the child to hopefully cheer him up some.

"I loved Mr bunny. I'd come out every day and feed him cheese."

That might have been what killed the thing. Mice are the ones that eat cheese, Meli.

"You doing okay Mel?"

The boy nodded, sniffling before looking up to his brother with the biggest puppy dog eyes.
