Day in the life of you and Ethan

This is an imagine about you and Ethan when you are married and have a one year old daughter, Katherine.

You woke up at about eight thirty on a Saturday morning. Your husband, Ethan had his strong arms wrapped around your waist. He was sleeping, softly snoring. You got out of your bed and crept across your carpet. You opened the door and walked into your daughter's room and up to her crib.
(Katherine goes by Katie BTW)

You picked up Katie, who was still sleeping partially. She rested her head on your collar bone. You carried her back into your and Ethan's bedroom. Ethan was sitting on his phone. He smiled and put away his phone. "Katie! Come here baby!" He reached out. You handed your daughter to your husband. "I'm going to go take a shower," you announced. Ethan waved. "Say bye mommy," he whispered to Katie. "Bye momma," Katie said. You smiled and grabbed a towel from the linen closet. "I love you too, babies."

You showered quickly and walked out of the bathroom into the master bedroom. Ethan and Katie weren't there. You pulled on a pair of leggings and one of Ethan's shirts and walked down stairs into the kitchen.

Ethan and Katie were making breakfast together. He was flipping pancakes at the stove and she was licking cinnamon bun icing off her fingers. Ethan turned around to see you smiling. He have you a kiss. Katie giggled. You walked over and picked up Katie. Ethan gave the both of you a kiss on the forehead. You carried your daughter to the carpet in the living room and set her down. Ethan turned on the news. Katie rolled around on the carpet. Slowly, she pushed her self up on two feet. She fell on her bum. You looked up. "Ethan did you see that?" You asked. "Nope," he answered. "Katie just fell," you said. Ethan looked up. "Is she okay?" He asked. "I think so, but she must have been standing up or walking when she fell." You said. "Babe, I think we missed Katie's first steps," Ethan said smiling.

You felt a little heartbroken. Ethan came out of the kitchen. He walked over to Katie and knelt down and whispered something into her ear. "Listen honey, mommy is really sad that she didn't get to see you walk," he whispered in Katie's ear. She giggled and Ethan helped her onto her feet. You watched in awe as she walked holding your husbands hand them letting go. She would take a few steps then fall. You would help her up.

Ethan sat across from you oaths carpet, Katie would walk between the two of you. A timer in the kitchen went off and Ethan hopped onto his feet and walked into the kitchen. You held Katie's hand as the two of you walked into the kitchen together. You strapped her into her high chair and helped Ethan with the food. He snaked his hand around you waist and kissed you on the lips lovingly. Katie giggled. You pulled away and took some strawberries out of the fridge. Ethan put them in a bowl and handed them to your daughter. You got a bowl of cereal for yourself and Ethan ate his eggs. You walked over and sat next to Katie. Ethan directly across from you.

"I love my two girls so much," Ethan said. You smiled and blew him a kiss. "Say I love you, daddy," you whispered to Katie. "I wuv you daddy," she said with mouth full of strawberries. Ethan clapped his hands together and laughed. "I love you babe," you said to you husband.
