I sat on my bed, staring at him, still figuring out how does it happen.

"Are you planning to give an invitation to your childhood crush as well?" He asked, still writing that 'Funeral invitation'

"How are you writing things? aren't you just my imagination?"

"EXACTLY!" He exclaimed, "Perhaps it is because your urge to suicide is too strong that you gave me life!" He pulled me out of the bed as he continued explaining

"So why don't we just drink this bleach instead so that everything will be over." He led me in front of the counter with a cup filled with bleach on top.

"I'm not planning on dying mister," I said.

He sighed.

"Fine! Let's look for reasons to live!"

A smile grew on my face "Just watch, this will be really easy!" I confidently said, tip-toeing towards the bathroom. "Where are you going?" he asked.

"I'm gonna wash up real quick," I replied, "I hope you slip and hit your head."

"Or drown in the bathtub or something." He added

"Shut up, I'm going to have a nice warm bath,"

While I was soaked in the bathtub, I couldn't help but think, "Do I really want to die?

"But wouldn't I be aware?"

No matter how much I think about it, I still couldn't figure it out. Maybe because I was too busy with schoolwork that I might've overlooked? but I go out with my friends from time to time, and I often enjoy my classes. I even hang out with Hannah during the-

wait...

who's Hannah again?

I got up from the bathtub and quickly dried myself before putting on a pair of pajamas. 'He' was nowhere to be found, but I didn't think too much about him and grabbed my phone from the bed to text our group chat.

"Do you guys know someone named 'Hannah'?"

They read my message almost immediately, but It took a while for them to respond, "Hmm, the one from Class C? What about her?" Jy responded.

"It's just that, I suddenly remembered that name, and hanging out with her during weekends..." I replied,

"You've been with us for a long time Beverly, and we don't know anyone named Hannah that's close to you."

"Alright, I must've confused her from a TV show or something..."

I threw myself to my bed and sighed, that was the moment I realized.

"What's wrong?" He asked, "Nothing."

"Is there something you are not telling me?"

"It's nothing, I said..." I replied, a bit annoyed

"How am I going to help you if you're hiding something from me..."

"Fine, I'll tell you." I sighed in defeat, he sat down and listened.

"I lost my memories...about 3 years ago..."

His eyes widened, "Then that means-"

"That's probably why, I don't remember you," I said.

"During those 3 years, have you ever recalled anything?"

"No, not until a few minutes ago at the bathroom..."

"And It's probably, just some kind of mistake," I added sitting up and hugging my knees.

"Why'd you think that?"

"Because my friends told me,"

He chuckled, I looked at him confused, "What's funny?"

"You're not even sure if they're your actual friends since you don't even remember-"

"Shut up," I said, burying half of my face in my arms. "You don't know anything,"

"I'll let you rest for now, but just know that I won't stop bothering until we settle this..."

I laid down on the bed and faced the wall like a little kid throwing a tantrum without saying anything. "Alright, good night..." He said before leaving my room.

My eyes were closed for about an hour, and yet I still couldn't fall asleep, I couldn't stop thinking about what he said. I've indeed thought about it a few times, what if they're just a couple of strangers taking advantage of me? That they are someone who I've never actually met my whole life not until the day they 're-introduced' themselves to me?

No Beverly, don't let him make you overthink. During those days when I couldn't leave the house because of my lost memories, they were there that entire time, bringing me lectures that I'd missed, telling me fun stories, and mostly just hanging out with me.

No matter how probably frustrating I was for them.

In the midst of reminiscing old memories, I was able to fall sound asleep.

"Hey, you're gonna be late..." A familiar voice woke me up, I opened my eyes to see his face right in front of me which surprisingly didn't scare me.

He blinked a few times before distancing himself, "Dammit I thought I'd scare you to death."

"I already told you I'm not planning to die... at least not anytime soon." I said with a morning voice, before turning to the other side of the bed. "And It's Saturday..."

"Is it? but it says 'Friday' on your phone..." He showed me my phone, It took time to process but I immediately stood up from my bed when I saw the date written.

I took a quick shower, didn't bother to make breakfast, brought everything I needed, tied my hair in a hurry, and took off in a sprint. "WAIT UP!" He said huffing and puffing,

"Can't you fly or something?"

"What do you think I am? some kind of fairy?"

"Whatever, I'm gonna be late so hurry up if you don't want to get left behind,"

I sprinted as fast as I could, not just so I could get there in time, but to hopefully lose him as well. but then again, of course, it's not that easy.

I arrived just in time and saw him sitting at my desk, staring blankly at who knows where.

I calmed my breathing and walked towards him, "Hey-" I cleared my throat, almost forgetting that nobody could see him. Instead, I kicked his foot. He looked at me, my eyes widened when I realized it was a different person.

He looked at me confused like I was some kind of crazy person, which is probably true from his point-of-view. "I'm so-" but before I got to apologize, Jy called while laughing at me.

"Hey, Beverly! why are you threatening him?"

"Sorry King, Beverly could get a bit feisty sometimes." She talked to him.

I felt extremely embarrassed, and so I turned to him to apologize but my head started to hurt like crazy, I couldn't breathe well, Jy was saying something to me but I couldn't hear her. His face was oddly familiar, not because he looked like him, but for some other reason.

I've seen him before, but my mind won't comprehend; when or where.
