Concert Night- K.Bakugo X Reader

Chapter 7

(Y/N) had already spent a week in the hospital, her condition steadily declining but not as rapid as before. Many of her U.A. classmates had come, brining her little gifts and checking in on her. She may not be one of them anymore but they all cared about her deeply.

Today was a day for just her and Bakugo to share, aside from the nurses coming and going. "Pretty shitty date, huh?" (Y/N) asked, looking over at Bakugo. The two sat on the hospital bed together, enjoying each others company.

"Yeah, it's shitty." Bakugo agreed then placed a kiss to (Y/N)'s forehead. "But I'm fine with it." He added. 

"Does it scare you? Seeing me decline and get hooked up to more tubes?" She asked, staring at their intertwined hands. Bakugo sighed softly, deciding to be more honest than take the cool guy response.

"Damn right it scares me. Even at school I can't stop worrying about you, if suddenly you'll take another turn for the worst." Bakugo admitted. (Y/N) looked up at Bakugo in surprise, not expecting the genuine response.

"I didn't know it scared you that much." (Y/N) lightly spoke. Bakugo grabbed her face, squishing her cheeks as he looked her dead in the eyes.

"You fucking moron, of course this shit scares me a lot! This place is full of shitty ass losers but then there's you....not a shitty ass loser. Someone I don't just tolerate, I guess." Bakugo said, the tip of his ears tinting pink as a bashful blush crept to his face.

"I'll get better, Katsuki. It will just be a long ride till we get there." (Y/N) said, tears falling from her eyes as she smiled. Bakugo stared at her for a moment, frozen in placed. He stammered to say anything and just hugged her close.

"You're such a crybaby." Bakugo mumbled.

Flashback

"Sho, Sho, are you alright?!" (Y/N) shouted at her best friend.

"Oh look, your girlfriend  came to rescue you, what a loser." The bully said, kicking Todoroki again. As usual, in middle school the duo would meet up in the same spot every day, deciding what to do after school only this time one of the bullies and two of his ragtag buddies from a grade above looked to have jumped Todoroki.

"Excuse me, Asshat. I'm his BEST friend!" (Y/N) shouted and kicked the back of the bullies head. Todoroki coughed a bit, standing up just in time to catch (Y/N) as she was pushed back.

"We shouldn't egg him on." Todoroki mumbled, hand on his best friend's shoulder to keep her from charging further into the fight. The girl huffed, feigning a surrender then throwing a ball of fire at the bully. "Damn it." Todoroki sighed.

(Y/N) continued to fight the bullies on her own. Whatever they did to her friend refrained him from fighting terribly well.

Though Shoto wasn't worried as much about his friend because as he watched the fight, clutching his abdomen, his best friend was single handedly kicking the bullies asses.

(Y/N) was tossed to the ground, more scraps littering her skin. (Y/N) tried to regain her breathing but seening as they were outnumbered it wasn't easy to take a moment. (Y/N) looked back at Shoto, mouthing a plan that the bullies couldn't hear.

Shoto spread a sheet of ice under the two of them the (Y/N) quickly pressed her fire hot palms the the ice, creating a large steam cloud to envelope the area. (Y/N) scrambled to her feet, yanking Shoto with her quickly running elsewhere.

They had run blocks from the bullies, (Y/N) had run out of stamina now. Shoto clutched his abdomen in pain and groan, sliding down to his knee. (Y/N) was still trying to catch her breath but turned her attention to where her friend looked to be hurting. "Take off your blazer." She said, helping him with thr task as he grimaced from the pain. (Y/N) then pulled up his white button down enough to see where the injury was.

There was bruising but no definite sign of injury. "Let's get you looked at. Your bastard Dad might actually kill me if he sees this." She spoke with a sigh. Shoto nodded and the two made their way to the ER.

Once the two managed their way to the hospital it didn't take long for Todoroki to get looked at by a doctor and since the two are just children the hospital required that an adult was to be called. So (Y/N) called her parents.

The visit was maybe an hour and after a few X-rays it was determined that one of Todoroki's ribs was lightly fractured  but he would recover quickly.

Everyone got into the car and after a long evening were headed to drop Todoroki at his house before his Sister began worrying about him.

Not long into the drive, (Y/N) began to sniffle and wipe her face. Mrs. (L/N) looked back through the mirror and smiled softly.

"S-Stupid bullies....." (Y/N) mumbled, trying to play off she wasn't crying. Shoto looked at her and smiled slightly. He carefully brought up his arm and pat his friends head and leaned against her.

"I know, it's okay." Shoto replied.

Flashback over

"Can't help being a cry baby." (Y/N) chuckled as Bakugo wiped her face. "Not everyone can play it cool like you and Sho." She added with a chuckle, pinching Bakugo's nose.

A week or so had went by and the Doctor had suggested (Y/N) get some fresh air for the day. So once her friends heard this, a few of them planned a fun day they would all enjoy. And as in some it was more realistically it was most of class 1A. It was still a bit chilly out, not yet beach weather so they were all going ice skating. Crazy enough, Aizawa even helped by reserving the rink for only them. "Let's go!!!!" Min exclaimed, grabbing (Y/N)'s hand excitedly.

Said girl laughed at her friend and hurried along towards the rink. Mina was the first on the ice but she was quick to fall on her butt. Uraraka helped her up but also was unsteady on the ice. "Come on, Sho! Show them how it's done." (Y/N) laughed, ushering her best friend to show off his talents.

Todoroki sighed, only willing to do it cause it was his Best friend asking him which everyone else knew that was gonna work.

"Let's go." Todoroki said, grabbing his friend and dragging her with him.

"Hold up there, Elsa, I'm not good at ice skating like you!" (Y/N) said.

"I know." Todoroki said, smirking a little.
