Concert Night- K.Bakugo X Reader

Chapter 8

Todoroki guided (Y/N) on the ice, snickering to himself. "Oh shut up asshole." (Y/N) smirked while shaking her head. "Alright Ice Queen, show them how it's done." (Y/N) added.

Todoroki started skating effortlessly with (Y/N) on the ice. Then he started showing off. Still guiding his friend around the rink he also skated around her and did some tricks. Figure eights, skating backwards and even tricks in the air.

The rest of the class cheered and applauded, making remarks about how they couldn't skate nearly that good.

Bakugo stood at the rink entrance in front of the others. Todoroki saw this and pushed (Y/N) a little harder as they neared that direction. (Y/N) felt unsteady but reached her arms out in front of her, waiting to clutch onto her boyfriend. Bakugo caught her, helping her stand still. "Come on!" (Y/N) grinned, tugging Bakugo along with her back on the ice.

Everyone felt relieved that (Y/N) was already in good spirits then quickly joined in the attempts to ice skate. Most clumsily slid around while nervous or laughing in amusement. The girls skated their way over to (Y/N), showing off their "cool moves".

(Y/N) applauded and was then stolen from her boyfriend. "You can have time with your hubby later!!" Mina shouted, loud enough for everyone to hear but those who heard just laughed.

Kirishima made his way over to Bakugo, alongside Kaminari and Sero. "Hubby, huh?" Kirishima chuckled.

"Blows my mind every day that such a cutie tames an angry pomeranian like you." Kaminari cackled to himself. Bakugo glared like always then was ready to pounce but Kaminari dodged and began trying to skate away. Which then became an aggressive game of tag between the four.

Mina held a big grin along with the others in their group. This seemed like bliss, more than anyone could ask for.

The group of students skated around, trying to show each other up with whatever tricks they attempted to pull off. (Y/N) was released to skate over to her boyfriend. Bakugo sighed in relief, being away from the teasing his friend was giving him. "Was today fun?" (Y/N) asked, keeping her eyes trained on her feet and her hand gripping Bakugo's.

"Why are you asking me? This day was set up for you." Bakugo grunted. (Y/N) smiled at the happy reminder.

"I had lots of fun, I think everything will be just fine." She giggled to herself. Bakugo gazed at the soft and joyous expression (Y/N) was wearing. The way seeing such a sight made his heart so damn happy.

Not long after did (Y/N)'s parents come to pick them up. Everyone was bummed the night had to come to am end but every person who came today knew they succeeded, they helped brighten (Y/N)'s eyes. You wouldn't know she was hurting inside from the dying of her Quirk. She looked as happy as ever when she was surrounded by this group of people.

"Wait! We need a picture!!" Ochako exclaimed before everyone left the rink. She skated over to (Y/N)'s parents and asked if they could take the picture which they were happy to do. Just for safe measures and to delay their departure, they all took multiple photos. Lightly tossing around (Y/N), so she was shown being squished or hugged by different friends.

"We'll go wait in the car, don't take too long." Mrs. (L/N) said, walking back to the car with her husband.

(Y/N) sighed, walking on stable ground. Bakugo followed her as she went to sit down and change out of her skates. Bakugo bent down himself and began untying the laces, taking off the skate then slipping on her shoes. "You didn't have to do that, silly." (Y/N) smiled. Bakugo looked up at her then averted his eyes as he began to blush.

"You were very active today....I figured you are pretty tired. Shouldn't be pushing yourself, stupid." Bakugo mumbled, undoing his skates next.

"Thank you, Katsuki. I am pretty tired, I'll admit that. Mind taking me to tell everyone goodbye?" (Y/N) asked once Bakugo had his shoes laced up. Bakugo grunted with a nod, extending his arm to her. She struggled a little getting up but didn't look yo be in pain. (Y/N) clung to his arm, subtly using Bakugo as a crutch.

Everyone said their goodbyes, telling (Y/N) they should do this again and then exchanging hugs. Todoroki hung back, waiting for his turn after the others left. Todoroki hugged his friend carefully. "Go get some rest, (N/N). I will be back tomorrow." Todoroki said, also seeing the fatigue settling in. (Y/N) nodded tiredly then went back with Bakugo who then helped her to the car waiting for them.

Bakugo helped (Y/N) buckle in then brought her in close so she could comfortably rest her head. "How was she?" Mr. (L/N) asked, seeing (Y/N) had already fell asleep.

"She was happy but as hard as she tried to hide it, I could see she was tired." Bakugo explained.

Mr. (L/N) hummed in response but was happy to here his daughter was in good spirits today.

They pulled up to the hospital, allowing Bakugo to take (Y/N) inside. Bakugo scooped (Y/N) in his arms as to not wake her and walked into the hospital. The security opened the door for him then a nurse joined them as Bakugo was taking her to her room.

The walk was silent, just the sound of them walking in the halls. The nurse opened the rooms door then quietly shut it behind them. Bakugo set (Y/N) down on the hospital bed then say back in the chair as the nurse hooked (Y/N) back up the medical machines. "I'll give you a moment to say goodnight." The nurse quietly spoke, bowing then quietly exiting.

(Y/N) stirred awake a bit, her tired eyes looking at Bakugo. "I guess I was more tired than I had thought, I'm sorry." She apologized, her hand instinctively reach out for Bakugo's.

Bakugo intertwined his hand with hers, kissing the back of it lightly then looking back into her eyes. "Dumbass, pushed yourself today, figures you were tired. It's fine." He grumbled making (Y/N) giggle. Bakugo knew that response would make her laugh.

"I wish you could stay the night." (Y/N) said, her grip tightening for a moment but nonetheless she smiled.

"I'll be back tomorrow, after you rest." Bakugo said.

"You have class tomorrow, no blowing it off, okay?" (Y/N) asked. Bakugo groaned with a flat expression.

"You're more important." Bakugo mumbled under his breath.

"I will still whoop your ass in my crippled condition, Katsuki." (Y/N) said in a stern tone. Bakugo sighed, giving in to her demands. "Go get some sleep, I love you." She added, smiling kindly once more at her boyfriend.

Bakugo sighed then stood from his seat to plant a gentle and caring kiss to (Y/N)'s forehead. "I love you too, stupid." Bakugo replied then begrudgingly left her side.
